For the delirious, Vols have no shot at SC.

Good interview on front page with Ellis Johnson(Assistant coach USC)from scout...listen too his comparison of Vols at 4 minute mark.. Makes some good points. SRY can't post it.

Although we aren't playing up to our normal high standards we are still a D1 school in the SEC with some talent. It's been a bad year but we have shown we can play with anybody just not for 60 minutes. Let's put an entire game together & see what happens. Btw USCjr is still USCjr.

We have the same shot we always have-- 50/50. We'll see which team comes to play-- the one that hung with the Ducks for a half, the one that played LSU close or the one that got blown away by Georgia.

50/50? Seriously?

Some posters are predicting a UT upset this week. Spurrier gets his revenge for last season. SCAR wins by 3 tds. C'mon man. Vols probably finish 3-9. Favorite time of the year is down the toilet. Hey Mikey, you think apathy has set in?? :ermm:

Hamilton is more at fault than anyone; for the Kiffin hire. Coaching changes set a program back 2-3 years, so that is where we are. 4-5 years away.

Blow -- !!! :finger3:

Ok, the point of this thread was not to just say we suck. It was to allow all the rahtards that will be back here saturday after the game *****ing about our players/coachings staff/etc and clamoring for change.

OP is partially right. Though I hope we win - I don't realistically think we will.

Exactly. I will cheer for the Vols like I expect them to win every game and will be pissed that we lost. No tpissed at the players, but pissed in general. I doubt we win, but I doubted USC would beat Bammer and Iowa State would beat Texas, or Jacksonville St. would be The Rebel Black Bears. Stranger things have happened.

Pressure Garcia like they did McElroy and yes they've got a shot.
If they can't do that forget it.

I will watch the entire game, as I haven't missed one minute of any game yet, but the OP is probably right. USC is a much better team. Memphis is the only game left on the schedule I feel good about. But this is what I do on my saturdays this time of the year. I will never not watch and pull for my alma mater.

I just don't see how we can keep up with their offense. Even if defenses were even, we are so far behind on offense that our margin of error is small. 1 TO and we are probably out of it. Not trying to be negative, just know our reality.

Same as heads or tails-- you either win or you lose. They have lost some they shouldn't have, and we've played some closer than we should've, so anything can happen.

The outcome of the game probably wont have much of an effect on me personally. I just hope we show improvement. Go Vols!
