There are 50 threads for all the complainers. Please use those threads to talk all you want negatively. Some are warranted but I'm asking for a positive view thread here.
A few thoughts:
**I actually thought we spread the ball around a lot better. The offense was more relaxed and in position more today.
**Dobbs seemed to be better with his check downs and throws today. His completions were good and would be better if not for the 2 clear drops. He still completed 70% of his passes.
**The Oline made a few mistakes today but seemed like they did progress from last week to this week. Maybe not as much as we like but I did see improvement.
**While our Dline didn't break the bank with sacks today they punished the QB a ton pass after pass.
**The Dline also seemed to lock down the running game as well. I knew we had a secure win early because of how solid and aggressive the Dline was playing.
**Malone and Byrd played well with the ball in their hands. Both of them showed off their talent.
**Croom played a solid game at his new position.
**Mosely did get his head around during coverage this week.
**We had over 400 yards on offense!
**Our mistakes and busted coverage are correctable errors. We still look like a solid team with the ability to put it all together.
**For the first time since 2004 we are 3-0 (12 years)
**For the first time since (I don't know when) we are on a 9-0 run.
**We still have a very healthy offense.
**The NC team of '98 struggled with Syracuse, a weak AUBURN team and UAB. Three teams they should have blown away. 5* talent across the board back then but they won and when all said and done... Well, you know
**Florida's offense isn't playing well against the 127th team in the nation.
**Florida QB Del Rio is out for next weeks game. Hope he recovers fast after missing our game.
Ready for FL! Go Vols!! Feel free to add anymore positive stats and info and I'll add it to the list.
If you want to discuss I am all for it but please leave the "we suck, I hate CBJ, Fire Debord, Hurd's overrated, we've already lost to FL..." comments for another thread.
