Can everyone now remember to ONLY listen to Hubbs and Co. I mean they have been so spot on this year it is unbelievable.

We get ourselves worked up believing the "insiders" on here or other non-reputable posters.

These meltdowns would be less epic if people knew the right information to process and let their expectations bet set as such.

Hubbs has been alluding the past 24 hours it was trending in a negative way, and then 20 minutes before the announcement said it was going to be bad news.

He has been right on Boyd, Green, Lawson, ect, ect.

He has called all the guys we got today. Miller, Dobbs, and most likely Brown.

Just try and remember this next year when guys like
BIGAL come on here running their mouths.

Bigal probably talked to the local Chatty gas station attendant who said "Bell sure would look good in orange" and took that as a source.

Well, they might have been right but the truth is when we are talking about 18 year old high school kids anything can happen at the drop of a hat (or a stack of money). So maybe Brent and Co. know when to hold em and know when to fold em but really it's just luck on predicting what happens with a lot of these guys.

Moral: Don't listen to anyone and just let things play out. Don't get hopes up until the ink is on the dotted line. Kids change their mind daily.

They just know that even if the kids Dad calls the coaches and says we are going to come to TN a week before signing day that doesn't mean it will happen.

Others here hear that and say it is over getting everyone's hopes up.

This. I have put a lot of stock in what BigAL and Skeeter have said in the past only to get burned. Unlike a lot of people who blame them for the bad info they sometimes bring, I blame myself for believing them.

And have been in the business since it began and have been 100% focused on TN recruiting for that time period.

The guy is the best in the business by far.

I've got to where I listen to no one. No need to get excited or disappointed until the ink is dry.

Today is pretty disappointing. The only hope we have now is that Jones can show he can coach on the field. Its the only way we start winning recruiting battles again for top notch players.
