I say no, he's a dynamic college QB, a great human being and christian, a positive role model that I woul love to have wearing orange, but he's not an NFL caliber QB. In the NFL, you have D-linemen running like LB's, LB's running like safeties, and safeties that hit like LB's. Tebow running the ball would last about 1 game.

I don't think he's a good enough pocket passer. I may eat these words Saturday night, but JMO.

Yes or no, Tebow in the NFL?

Nope...he's too much of a Vince Young, run it first kind of QB to make it. I agree a couple seasons of them big NFL hits and he'll be done...ala Vince.

It all depends on the system he gets drafted into. If he goes to an Atlanta where there is a pro style then no he won't succeed. If he goes into a New England where they run a form of the spread, absolutely he will succeed.

I kind of get the same feeling. He'll probably get picked up and get a shot at being somebodies backup for a while but I just don't see him becoming a successful NFL QB.

AKA... Vince Young.

But Vince Young's biggest knock is his immaturity and lack of desire. Doubt Teabag would have that problem. Plus he's physically bigger than Young.

Ksush thinks he's the greatest quarterback of all-time, and LG's on record proclaiming Tebow a surefire #1 pick in the draft whenever he leaves Florida.

Those two know a ton about football, so I'd say it's safe to say he'll be a hall of famer.

i think tebow benefits greatly from meyer's system. he won't have the same success he has had in college.

Seriously though - whichever team drafts him needs to be prepared to have him sit for a looong time.

How many teams in league are running zone-read option offenses? It's going to take him a long time to adjust, if at all, to the NFL game.

He's not going to change positions. Ability or size or not issues with him, the issue is that he hasn't proved success in a pro style offense.

6'5" - 233 versus 6'3" - 240. Not a whole lot to make a difference although I probably prefer to see TT as a Titan.

I think he's a 2nd rounder if he leaves this year. I will disagree daddy, although he is not a pro-style pocket passer, he has a very strong arm and could be taught to not think run first, but hang in the pocket. Look at some of the QB's in the league right now, YUK-he'll find a spot and be a solid player

There is no doubt Tebow has the heart, desire, passion, and intensity to play. It's hard for a leopard to change its spots. Tebow wants to run over you. Vince Young can run around you.

I wouldn't say Tebow can't play in the NFL. He runs his offense and runs it to near perfection. He needs to work on his drop back passing. I hope he makes it, he's a class kid.

LMAO, no. NE's version of the spread requires an accuarate pocket QB. Tebow won't stay in the NFL unless he converts to FB. From his interviews, I don't think that he is worried too much about pro ball. He's gotten enough of a platform from his success in college ball to do the things he wants. I just don't get the vibe that he is passionate about playing in the NFL like he is for the gators. Besides, I'm sure he'll be a wealthy man with or without the NFL.

V. Young is an elusive runner which is the only reason he's playing. Tebow is a power runner. He will be too much of a high-impact player to survive in the NFL. But if any QB could do it, it would be him.

I used to think he was a sure bet, but I saw some things in the Miami game that worried me about his ability to be a drop-back and pocket passer, which is what the NFL by and large is looking for. I was 90 % sold before, but now down to about 60 %.

Ask me again in two months.

If he keeps his head on straight and works hard, he's going to make one helluva fullback some day.

I would love to see Tebow as a FB in the NFL. As much as he likes contact, it's a natural.

He has great talent, but not great talent to make pinpoint passes from the pocket, so I agree with you but I would give him more like 40% chance

Tebow runs over 220 and 230 pound linebackers consistently in college, but I don't think he can run over 240 and 250 NFL linebackers.

Look no matter how much you dislike the guy cause he is a gator doesnt matter, hes a hell of a football player probably one of the best to come around in a while for the college game. I enjoy watching him. theres not many players that can come into a game and say im gonna run it down your throat try and stop me and he actually can do it.

Tebow is a class act no matter what, i would be proud to have him at UT.... As far as the nfl though, i think he will do fine, he proved last year he can without a doubt throw the ball

I've heard a lot of talk that NFL teams don't like how he throws the ball... not passing overall, just his release and stuff.

I don't know if I could see him being the type to come in, start as a rookie, and completely turn a franchise around. He could end up being good though, i think.

Who do y'all think ends up being better... Tebow, Stafford, Bradford, or Daniel? throw any other names out there too.
