The other day I posted that what Tennessee needs to do is hault this coaching search, bring Curry in and fire his ass, then appoint Fulmer as AD and resume the search. I'll be damned if that's not exactly what they did! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this amazing early Christmas present!

If Fulmer knew what he was doing searching for the "right guy", isn't it safe to assume he would have used that knowledge to continue coaching?

Wait, So are you saying that you're NOT happy with what transpired today and that we're better off with Currie still out there on his coaching search world tour?

No, Currie couldn't get it done, so it's next person up. Is Fulmer going to travel this path alone and not seek the advice of a search firm, or go the way of Currie. Just because Big Phil Fulmer is in the driver's seat doesn't mean this trip will end well to everyone's satisfaction.

That's for certain. Fulmer could bring in the Pope who went on to win three national championships in a row and someone in this forum would still be complaining about it.

How he travels the path isn't known yet,but one thing is sure.A large percentage of vol nation will be happy and another percentage will be very unhappy.It's just how we roll!!

The tour would be done and we would have Mike Leach. That would've been a slam dunk if he hired Leach the day after Butch was fired.
