More importantly.....can I see a VAST improvement between the 2014 Vols and the 2015 Vols?? Abso-*******-lutely, and if you can't, you either don't WANT to see it, or you're brain dead.

Thank you. When I start to lose faith in our fan base, finally, a beacon of light. This is exactly the way we should see it.

I am not giving up on this season, either. This still could be our best season in 8+ years. This is a good football team. Not great, and certainly limited because of youth, but still good.

Dude. I see the improvement. But doesn't matter if you're still losing. We can't play a good game for 55:00 minutes and fold in the last 5:00. Its simple.

7-0? Are you serious? Do you think that with all the missed interceptions that Alabama had that we should have been anywhere near in this game? Give me a break. Go support another team. It's clear to me that this team plays hard for Butch Jones, but we're not near the talent level we need to compete with the best of the SEC.

This is the SEC, and we are Tennessee. They could easily lose 4 or more close games next year. Just because they beat Georgia this year doesn't mean they win in Athens next year. It has been a long time since UT could put back to back on them. Florida looks like a program on the rise, plus it is a lock UT wets the bed against them so it is likely that is another close loss. Bama will be favored against the Vols next year as well.

So, in 2016 which is supposed to be Butch's Banner Year, if they are 8-4 or 9-3 with a bunch of close losses, does it mean the process is still taking place? Will the rally cry be wait for 2017? A great season, even though the UF and Bama streaks continue?

After four losses we are still saying the same damn things.

Disagree. Lost 3 games because defense couldn't defend the pass vs a good team. DBS aren't real good and they need some help with depth. Don't have any. I felt Martin and Sutton appeared tired on the last drive. Jmo

Also, OL thin and inexperienced. Can't block top teams when they know Tennessee has to pass. How many sacks did Dobbs evade?

That's because we aren't getting smoked, unlike when Butch took over the program. Huge improvement. We're hanging in there with every team we play. The wins will come

I'm all for Butch being our coach, and he's still got some learning to do as far as being a SEC coach. I've seen some on here say, we're a young team and Bama is loaded with Seniors. In my opinion that didn't factor in the game one bit. Bama stepped up in crunch time and we didn't!
