Eerie and calm. People on both sides were walking around stunned. No trash talk. No harassment. Everybody knew they had just witnessed something incredible.

I hung around as long as I could and hi fived as much as I could. I was with UGA fans and I wanted to be gracious winner. My father-in-law was just stunned into silence. I actually kindof felt bad for UGA because of where UT has been and can empathize. I think the band was done playing for the night and kindof hanging around. UT fans begged them to fire up Rocky Top one more time, there was a huge cheer then the band decided to play it (extremely loudly) one last time and everyone sang as loud as we could. Will never forget it and I''m considering retiring from going to games after that because I dont think it'll ever be topped.

How you been, AJeray? Haven't seen you around these parts lately or have I just not been paying attention?

I'm good. I don't check in as often as I used to, but sometimes WGWTFA and I just can't resist. Still in shock this morning. Catching up on all the reactions. I literally saw the last play of the game standing in the concourse at Bridgestone Arena/Preds game. The entire place erupted. Bear hugging strangers, screaming, crying, etc. It was pure insanity.

At a Preds game during the last minutes of the UGA game???? Please tell me you were only there because your boss invited you and you're looking to get promoted. :)

I know I know. I guess at some point over this last decade of Vols football I decided to take back my Saturdays. I watched 3 1/2 quarters at home, then made my group sit in the car to hear the last few minutes. Was furious and dejected when UGA scored. Flew out of the car and ran. Literally got to the concourse in time to see the play. It actually ending up being a perfect setting. It was pure joy. I got so blasted bourbon drunk I honestly don't even know if the Preds won.

It was a crazy crazy feeling. I bear-hugged 3 other Vols who were in our section and we just stood there in complete shock at what we just witnessed. The walk back to the truck was awesome. Thousands of people walking and absolutely no-body talking.

It's GREAT, TO BE, A TENNESSEE VOL

Section 609 was just awesome. High fives and hugs all around. Just before it was stunned disbelief like in Gainesville last year. After the catchThe Georgia fans were absolutely stunned it was like they had been shot repeatedly with a stun gun. Tennessee's fans stayed in the stadium for quite a while after the game just like last week. I was glad to see a few brave Tennessee fans ring the Big victorybell on campus which of course Georgia rings incessantly when they win. Georgia fans and students were extremely subdued in the downtown area after the game. A few were in full throttle redneck mode looking for a fight. We had a great time before the game at General Beauregard's

I like all the stories about how quiet it was walking out. I wasn't there but I was watching with about 10 uga folks. They all went runnin and screamin out the basement door when they took the lead. And I soon found out that I would have the same reaction immediately after the catch! But it was really quiet in that place once I got calmed down. Some of the most pleasant quiet I've ever heard lol

Have to give a shout out to my Bama buddy too. He was the only one there pulling for the Vols all game with me.

I wouldn't say that people weren't trash talking after the game. It really depends on where you are after the game just like any opposing stadium. Most UGA fans are decent but there are quite a few who will start crap for any reason whatsoever. As always there were a few "drunk fights" but overall not bad.

I was on Demonbreon Street in Nashville where there's a strip of bars (Tin Roof, Two Bits, Dawg House and South). My friends and I were in Dawg House just because it had the most TVs, but it is actually an Alabama alumni bar. There were several Bama fans that had filed in during the second half of our game because the BAMA-UK game was on next. They were all there trash talking us, forming some kind of sinister bond with any UGA fans there.

They were all celebrating and laughing their heads off when Eason threw that TD...but wow that bar after the Hail Mary to Jennings just erupted. I almost got hit by a car sprinting out into the street yelling my head off after the Jennings Jump. We immediately made our way next door to South (which is a UGA alumni bar) to celebrate. No one was being nasty towards each other, just because the pure jubilation of us winning was so much better than any kind of "haha we beat you" feeling could ever be. We then proceeded to get blasted on Broadway downtown lol
