For everyone who thinks I'm too negative

Here are some of my genuine, positive thoughts in no particular order:

1. Rick Barnes was a great hire and will make UT competitive in Bball sooner rather than later.
2. Team 119 could easily win the East if we play like we are capable of
3. It truly warms my soul to see VN respond to posters who need prayer for things going on in their personal lives.
4. Volnation is far better than any other sports message board I've seen out there.
5. I'm getting to where I really trust Butch and staff when it comes to recruiting.
6. We treat posters from rival schools very well over here and shows most of us have class.
7. I think most of you are good, funny, decent people even though I've never met a single one of you.
8. There are many players on our roster who don't get enough credit like Crowder, O'Brien, Kerbyson, Pig, Randolph
9. Even if Butch can't get enough wins here to keep his job, he has been good for the program
10. I appreciate all of our posters who have served our country - your sacrifice should never be forgotten.

Fade, my opinion of you has never changed. I agree with about 20% of what you say on here. I do think you are far too negative most of the time. I think your opinions on most matters are downright dumbfounding.

That said, I have the utmost respect for you. You speak your mind, no matter what others think. You don't go with the flow just to appease the crowd. And from what I can tell, you're a man who loves (I think) the Vols but more importantly his family.

I can't say I agree with you often. But I can say I respect you tremendously.

Even if you are a closet Arkansas fan who lives in a van down by the river.

It is kind of ironic. People accuse you of being constantly negative, they do the same to me.

Yet our "likes" to "posts" ratios show that more people secretly agree with us than care to admit it.

Prevalent, as in "you show up on this board too often under the delusion that some people really care what you think."

Nice post. But as for #9, you've obviously been reading too many of the other boards of #4 (Today, consider an Edit, and make this a 9 pointer). Butch has been great for the program and will get the Wins.

Fade, only after 2 top 5 recruiting classes are you able to finally trust our staff in recruiting?

Wasn't Mack Crowder getting blown off the ball pretty much all of last season?

Agree, if Butch doesn't get it done, he will be leaving behind a very attractive job opportunity for the next hire. The AD will have to try even harder to screw it up.

I never thought of you as negative, Fade. Then again, I don't know you that well. Maybe you are, but just took it easy the past six months since I've been here, heh.

Your #9 has some pessimist in it. Like a little bit of sad wrapped in some happy and surrounded by smiles. Is that what you mean about being negative? :)
