Still feel like it's been a wise decision?


Or is Larry Scott a joke and it doesn't matter if Manning was the QB?

Here's what I know. I'm looking at JG's floor and it looks an awful lot like QD's ceiling.

Once Dormady started turning it over, it's hard to justify not going with the young guy.

Is both an acceptable answer?

JG is probably a good kid but he is not even close to ready to play at this level.
Maybe on him, but likely just really SH.ty coaching from Canales and Scott.

I feel sorry for our poor defense..

Yes, since the start of the season QD played scared and was constantly looking around trying to find somebody to which to give his lunch money. Nice kid, lights came on and it was too much for him. JG is not playing scared. Dobbs as a frosh against Bama got beat but never played scared.

We've got 100 yards of offense for the game. We have NO passing game with JG--unless you count an avg. of 2 yards a completion. We were terrible with Dormady--but better than this. Scott, meanwhile, clearly has NO IDEA what he's doing--I'm sure of that.

The receivers can't get open at all.... so we really have no idea if JG is ready or not. ..... wtf is he supposed to do

Most likely we would’ve beaten S.C. with Dormady, but it wouldn’t have mattered today. I support the decision though. This has probably kept JG at Tennessee and the new coach hopefully can develop him. He does have talent. It’s just early.

JG looks decent to me. Good mobility, strong arm. Had some long passes dropped or just off fingertips. I think he'll be a good QB. Consider he has no blocking, coaching or receivers

WE HAVEN'T SCORED A TOUCHDOWN WITH JG.. Great kid. Has potential. NOT READY

A JG led offense has 0 TDs. How is he better again? Because he can run? That hasnt even helped in this horrible offense.

JG has potential but he’s not ready for prime time (and not as good as the original SNL cast)

Also Scott and Butches hurry up and punt offense are horrid as well. This is reason #1 why Butch should be replaced ASAP — he’s too stubborn to make or allow any changes to HIS offense.

If Peyton Manning were QB right now, he be remembered as for fondly as Dormady is — that’s on the coach being married to his scheme instead of adapting to the talent

this is not the JG that could be...anybody ever saw any of his HS footage...he's got potential, I see flashes now...coaching change could help him develop into a pretty damn good QB...IMHO...:twocents:

PS. playcalling could possibly help also...:)

Scott is the most incompetent OC I think I've ever seen. His play calling had no logical progression at all. It's as if he reaches into a bag and pulls out a play and runs it....he sucks
