Got it from tidefans.com.....

"Things I like about:

I like how they consistently have great recruiting yet only have one national championship to show for it. I like how their fans like to brag how they have dominated us over the past decade yet tend to forget that they were playing a bama program FAR from being on an "even playing field" with all the turmoil the program has been through. I like how they tend to let it slip their mind that even with our depleted program over the past decade they really never truly "dominate" us on the field. Their wins have been a far cry from dominating. Matter of fact two out of the last three we actually should have won and that was with our second and third string skill players on the field against their first stringers. That's what I like."

I love how bammers spin our recent dominance in the series. "Bama has been down, boo hoo!"

Yet they love to bring up 11 in a row, which, not by coicidence, happened during the 70's and early 80's, arguably the worst era in UT football.

Let them turn that spin cycle on high while we keep beating them, fair and square, on the field.

BTW, I wouldn't suggest staying on tidefans for very long. Too much more time there, and you'll kill so many brain cells that you won't be able to write, or even say your own name. You'll be like most of them, mumbling oncoherent things while slobbering out of the side of your mouth uncontrollably.

but its not fair to them....hahaha. it seems like every other topic on their board is about UT. Its sad when they don't have enough about their team to talk about.

I got on there a while back to talk some football. No bashing, just talking..well trying. They banned me!!!! :dlol:

Yeah, I got banned from there, too. I don't even remember what for. I think I may have linked to another site in my sig, but hey, I was never warned about it or shown the rules. Just got banned. I never fit in well there, anyway. I was too level headed.

I hear this crap everyday. But on the other hand, Bama fans have "class" :ph34r:

When they win a close one it was because of their dominance (see MTSU - a first year D 1 team that they struggled deep into the 4th qtr to put away) but when they lose it was because of (insert favorite excuse):

1. weakened by probation
2. weakened by injury
3. someone said something that fired up the other team (remember Pat Dye and Georgia a few years ago)
4. coach was distracted (this is why they loss the Iron Bowl with Franchione)
5. bad calls (worst ever - refs conspire against Bama since many refs played football and got tired of the Bear beating them :blink: I kid you not, this is a well accepted theory)
6. celestial beings have conspired against them.

2 of them were telling me they (Bama) really dominated UT last year except for 1:30 minutes of the game and that UT got lucky. When I asked why this doesn't apply to all the times they struggled against Vandy, they have no answer.

They are without a doubt the worst losers I've ever met. Every loss has a story that doesn't include Bama just plain sucking that day!

They really are sore losers. Just a bunch of grown-up crybabies. I hope we kick their butts next year and the year after that and so forth and so on....

1995 41-14 Domination
1996 20-13 Good Game
1997 38-21 Domination (game em a late score)
1998 35-18 Domination (once again a late score)_
1999 21-7 Domiantion (Our D beat the :censored: out of Zow and Alexander)
2000 20-10 Good Game
2001 35-24 Domination of the 4th Quarter. 13:39 TOP. Bama had it 1:41. We dominated when it counted
2002 14-34 They were a good team and dominated us.
2003 51-43 Great game
2004 17-13 Great Game


I see more domination.

Friend of mine who went to Bama.

He got banned from TideFans because he said he wished Pennington had played better

AND

Then called out an ADMIN for name-calling.

Bunch of morons running that site

I work with an implant bammer&#39; and OMG i thought it was just him&#33; He has used atleast 4-5 of those listed excuse&#39;s. Even the non vol fans i work with tell him ummm get a grip shut up&#33; or git on back to bama

That&#39;s right, I had forgotten about that. OTD had the sig and avatar that got Volnation mentioned in the paper. There&#39;s a thread about that somewhere.
