For a few minutes...

Sure but when heupel started UGA was already at the top and we were at the depths of the abyss. Huepel has pulled us out of it. I swear sometimes context alludes people
Not trying to be a jerk. Just offering a hand.

Eludes people. Allude is like a hint or a suggestion. Elude is escape from..like an idea someone doesn't grasp.

Apologize in advance if this rubs you wrong.

Disappointed as I am with the loss, the effort and skill of our players left a stronger impression on me. Our offense struck first and kept answering. We have a football team that flat out plays. This is not an ordinary team.
I get the notion that Joey has introduced an important trait to our QB’s traits - PASSION!!!

UGA fans felt what it was like to acknowledge in their own hearts that we had beaten them. A missed FG pulled them back out of the abyss -- a FG our kicker makes 9 times out of 10.

All the same, for a few minutes, they were forced to think about how they were going to move forward with a loss to Tennessee.

Next time, we'll make sure to seal the deal.
We say that every year

I'd gladly trade places with them. To have it in our hands only to turtle up, picked up and give it away at home rips the heart out of a fan.... especially at home.
I'd rather have the win, too, obviously. I feel the same frustration as every other Vol fan today. Maybe more, because I went to UT when Reggie White was still a Vol. I've lived through a lot of bitterly disappointing outcomes like this. This is one of those games that will never not sting.

But the fact remains we can still have a great season. We should have won this game. It hurts to know that we should have and we didn't. But it's also a reason for optimism, because it's been a long time since we could say that we should've won a game against UGA. I guess I choose not to wallow in misery when I know that there's still a lot of football left to be played. Not saying you're wallowing in misery. I appreciate your comment.
