Will definitely boost recruiting when complete enough to allow prospects to tour during their visits. It is suppose to be one of the largest, most technologically advanced in the NCAA when complete.
Not only will it help recruiting, but hopefully it will provide numerous benefits in other areas such as player development, improved training, better unit coordination and game preparation, as well as quicker injury recovery times from some non-serious injuries. This doesn't even touch the intangibles that the facility adds to the program, such as centralization of football operations and better coordination among staff members.
I am excited because an article I read about the project a while back mentioned that the last UT complex opened in 1992, just 6 short years prior to the unforgettable 1998 season. The article asserted that we experienced an excellent boost in talent recruitment immediately following the opening of the previous facility, and there is no reason to believe that this new complex wouldn't provide similar benefits now.
I sure cannot wait to find out!
