As I leave for work this morning i have writen Jay's Warrior on my hand like the girl on your facebook. All day when I look down I will be reminded of what matters most!

I hate to see things like this happen to young people because they have such a life to live it just breaks my heart this coming from a grown man my prayers are with jay. It's hard to talk about things like this because everyone wants to say i hope you get better in a young man's case like this its hard to say but the doctors have been proven wrong before so we shall see.

Simply incredible. It would top it off to get a win on a game dedicated to him. Would be incredibly emotional. If our team emulates even half the fight that this young man has shown, we will beat Alabama. What this young man has been through is way tougher than any number 1 ranked team. Proud to be a Vols fan today. Things like this are way we could go 0-12 and I'd still cheer just as hard. VFL Jay Rogers.

I am teaching a lesson on team building to my UNLV Air Force ROTC students today and was just inspired by the step of uniting for a common goal. It is amazing how this young man is uniting Vol Nation. Our common goal in Las Vegas this week will be praying for Jay! Go Big Orange!

We are praying for your family and Jay. This is the toughest part of the circle of life. I am encouraged by your post of Jay's courage. I pray that God may somehow comfort you through this time and that Jay have peace. It is times like these that let you know it is great to be a Tennessee Vol as you can tell by the overwhelming support to your family.

Linked Jays Facebook page to Play for Paige (Paige Duren) page. Paige is an incredible younster who battled cancer and is winning. Currently cancer free after a long battle. She is 13 years old.

Im not trying to shift any focus here, but Im linking this so that if there is anything we can take from Paiges experience to help Jay and his family, we take every advantage we can take.

I don't suppose there's time for wivk or pilot or first tennessee to have some buttons printed between now and Saturday? I can't remember who sponsors the ones they usually have at Vol Village. But they're like a 3" circle with a pin you can attach to your shirt/jacket. One that says "Jay's Warrior" that could be handed out at the gate would be awesome!!!

We continue by Jays bedside and watch as his breathing becomes more and more shallow. But looking at his face he is at peace. Daddy and I have told him that we will take care of Daniel, Jenny, Ella and each other, go get your reward. God Bless everyone for their outpouring of love for Jay and us as he leaves this life behind. Jay's Warrriors facebook page has exceded over 20,000 likes as of this evening. We have told him of all that is taking place on the page and have held the phone up to him for all those who have called to lend their support. If he could still speak he would humbly say that he is no hero, just a servant of God. Love to you all.

God bless this young man and his family...really brought tears reading about his story. He will be in a better place soon at peace and without pain. Praying for him and his family! God Bless!!

Jay fought hard all night. He woke up long enough to say he loved us and he doesn't hurt. At this point in his battle that is what we pray for is his peace and comfort. He even squeezed his 6 week old neice's hand. Pray for Jay. Spread the word of his story today.

thanks for all of your updates and getting the ball rolling for this young man. i'm glad to hear he isn't in pain
