I get the feeling that if Shannon is hired as the DC he may eventually be Dooley's replacement as HC? Not saying I think that will happen but given the fact that he will demand at least a 3 if not 4 year contract at close to 1 million a year it wouldn't surprise me if you wasn't handed the keys for a couple years to see what he could do.

He showed what he could do as a HC at Miami in the weak ass ACC. He will not be a canidate for HC IMO.
