We’re told “no decision” yet on Derek Dooley’s future at Tennessee.

My only thing is hart has been very quiet. No show of confidence or negative statements. Could mean non issue or could mean he is working behind the scenes and does want change. Who knows

It looked like the team gave up on Dooley. No fire, lots of catchable balls dropped, and yet again pathetic showing from Poole. Wonder if the team wants him out. They are attuned to coaching diversity.

If Hart found his big fish this offseason. Would he can Dooley after just 2 seasons? I think he would i mean guys can it get any worse than it already is?

So they are playing all these Dooley recruited and/or coached up freshmen and sophmores. Such great recruiting classes that they cannot be motivated to play for the seniors and a bowl game for themselves, their families and the fans that support them. And we have posters on here that say to give him one or two more years. Sorry - but that is insane. These recruits and the ones coming in have the Dooley stamp on them and that spells "loser" to me.

Dooley has to go or get better coaches around him , because he doesn't know what's going on! The play calling is horrible!

False, Danielson said he WONDERED if there would be repercussions. Gary Danielson has absolutely nothing to do with this university. He is the same guy who also praised Dooley at the beginning of the season and time and time again reiterated how much of a rebuilding process we are currently going through. I'm furious at Dooley right now, but I see both sides of the coin and hate things being quoted out of context.

Who cares what Danielson has to say his thoughts have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what will happen to Dooley.

A good to coach could beat Kentucky with what we have 10 out of 10 times.

Don't give a damn if they are all freshman, we had 10 times the talent Kentucky had yesterday. NO excuse in the world for this team to lay down and forfeit a bowl game, the way they did. The team regressed and the Coach lost his players. When that happens, it's better to cut bait and move on.

No one expected him to flip the script in two years, but at the very least begin showing some improvement. Instead, we start a death spiral downwards already.
