Pruitt's problem is that he still thinks he's at Bama where they always look the other way. We hire Freeze and he's going to know eyes are upon him and his efforts. He's well aware of how to swim in those waters. I'd hire him in a nano second. Same for Kiffin. I'm not looking for a saint. I want a damned football coach.

If I had to guess, I suspect we were turned in by a rival who likely got info from a recruit who signed elsewhere or didn't sign in the early period. My money would be on UGA or Auburn.

I'm not pleased about Freeze being out of the picture. I think he could fit well here. I just don't think that he is the #1 candidate we should go after when he's going to be cheap to get.
