That really wasn't my question PW. Texas lost 4 games last year and a bowl and finished 3rd in the Big 12.

They played B*** in Tuscaloosa. Obviously you were right, but before the game I wondered what it was about Texas that gave you confidence they could win.

And as far as Bama ain't good yet, lol, what made you think they weren't good yet before they played Texas? Hope they ain't good yet when we go down to that crap hole.

Mostly gut feeling. I knew Bama was breaking in a new qb, and iirc, there were/are questions about his passing game, which proved out, imo. Also, Texas, I think, had more key-posistion people returning than bama.

The biggest thing, imo, is the lack of history between the two. The mullet A doesn't garner the Longhorns attention as it does with Tennessee. We see a mullet A or a damn lizard and a stick grows in our collective bungalows.
