Football isn’t happening...

I'm not close to being a scientist, Doctor or anything close to that, so I have mixed feelings about the mask issue. What I do know is, 20 years ago I probably would have worn one with no questions asked.
Why then? Because I trusted what I was told from the media, the government, and the gov agencies. Maybe not 100%, but enough to do what I was told.

That is what is sad and scary about today, lack of trust in those I mentioned. It is almost to the point now that whatever they tell me or report I fell like maybe I should believe the opposite. Plus our gov making so many everyday issues so political. And, that does not make anyone like me a conspiracy theorist nut. Based on what we have been told and it being changed so many times it is easy to be suspicious.

Seeing all the pent up anger and hotly contested messages it makes me wonder, could this possibly be just one more thing they want to use to divide us.
And, please do not message me telling me how dumb that is. I will respect you whether you wear mask or not, just do same for me.

All I can say is it's a good thing it's all a hoax. Imagine what we'd have to do if somebody caught a real disease.

Imo covid19 is not a hoax, it is real. The hoax is the inaccurate reporting of deaths repored due to covid19; when in essence all you have to do is look at cdc guidelines on how the deaths of covid19 are reported and you will easily see the fatility rate is very much skewed.

I won't wear a mask in WalMart or any store. They can't make me and I won't do it. I will shop in any store and won't be denied service.

Well, wear one anyway. If not for covid, then to keep America beautiful.

I forgot my mask the other day when I went to a store in Knoxville. They stopped me at the door and politely provided me with one. How smaller towns are approaching it now? I cannot speak for them. But it seems Knoxville is now requiring it in all stores within the city. So, if you want to take that approach, you might want to stay out of Knoxville for now. Greater the population, the stricter it is going to get.

looks like a lot of you guys are visiting this thread so I will throw out a question for you to toss around. This might deserve its own thread if anyone wants to move it!

So, Nike can pull their marketing support of the Redskins and not offer/sell any more of the Redskin merchandise. This is an act which would cost the Redskins a lot of money--milions!

FedEx joins in and also threatens to leave if they don't remove the racist and offensive name REDSKINS!

Dan Snyder is forced to capitulate and agree to remove the eighty year old iconic trademark "REDSKINS!"

Now, we ain't got nothing much to do with FedEx besides the fact that they are in our state but we do have a contractual relationship with Nike! If they can do it to the REDSKINS,
they can do it to anybody/everybody.

I've had it with Nike--matter of fact, I decided a couple years ago that they were not worth the hype! They have given everybody many reasons to tell then to take a hike, but we just follow them like a puppy dog. (How do you feel about the Kapernack ads?) (And the women's soccer and Nike'support of their disrespect to our country and flag?) But to get all up in the air over REDSKINS? Fact: Over 90% of Native Americans do not have any problem whatsoever with the Washington "REDSKINS!"

Well, NO MORE! It's time to break our contract with those jerks! All along we are expected to turn our head to their child slave labor infractions in their manufacturing plants around the world! This is incredible hypocrisy and they should not be allowed to rule the world! AND, I'm sure there are better deals to be had at this point in time!

I agree with you totally. What is next demand that UT change Volunteers name?

I have been told by some health care workers than some doctors here and there are reporting people covid positive when they are not. I don't know if that is accurate or not, but if it is proven true, that will be one doctor I won't allow to treat me.

Well, if you are on social media, then you are probably being bombarded by Russian propaganda (and other nations). That is why I tend to look past what I am reading there, and look at the science and the medicine.

My question to all the naysayers is this: When in doubt, why would anyone choose not to use a face mask? Does it mess with your manhood or something? It's really not that hard to do.

The biggest problem right now is the media. Too many are more interested in their agendas, rather than just reporting the events. Personally, I hope this results in customizable cable TV. I resent a package that funds news outlets with an agenda. If you don't trust CNN or FoxNews? You should have the choice not to have them on your package. Save myself 5 cents a month not to hear CNN's tripe? I would do it in a heartbeat.

I usually just forget mine. But am getting smarter about it, especially in more populous areas when I have to be there.

I'm not on any social media, not even Facebook. And, I'm not a naysayer, I'm just a realist.
I believe Covid is real, and I'm pretty sure I never said that I would not ever wear a mask. But, I do feel we should not be forced to wear one.

Yes, I preach about masks, and then forget mine too. I'm not claiming to be mr. perfect or anything. I just don't understand all the big bad boys acting like it would kill them to wear one.

It's not an opinion. It's a fact that it's not a hoax. Only this country's dumbest and least informed citizens believe it's a hoax
