honest question, not to be a negative Nancy, but why does this day even matter anymore? If the ncaa comes down hard on UT and imposes severe post season/scholarship bans, can’t these guys get out of their signings and flip just as easily as they signed up?

It is an honest question, and, yes, anything could happen--to Heupel, the program, college football, or the whole world. It's true.

I'd suggest you go watch "Dr. Strangelove" and cheer yourself up.

No. I expected a 20-25 ranked class. If we're still inside the top 15 after Feb, I'll be totally shocked and happy. The stars don't matter as much with actual results as they do with perception with future recruits. Heupel and crew gettin it done.

These HS relationships are formed and massaged over a period of 3-4 years. That, coupled with NCAA sanctions hanging over his head, I'm ecstatic that we have a class currently ranked 10th on Rivals

Just rotten timing on so many fronts to blame. Pruitt, covid, etc. If we're having this same discussion next year at this time, I'll agree 100%.

If we have to reduce players, we can made the decision on who is let go. The gives us the opportunity to replace some less productive players with his own recruits.
