Congrats to the staff and players in the OL. One of the best I have seen on the Hill, especially when you consider last years performance. We were told we would be better there and we surely are. Many of us felt the natural maturity for an OL would show this year. Others said there was no way a vast improvement would be seen. Way to step up.

I must say, I'm darn proud of the o-line myself. They've turned into one of the nations elite o-lines.

They're definitely playing at an elite level. Hope none of them leave early for the NFL but can't blame them if they do.

The O-line has been amazing this year. Good job to them and to their coach.

It's amazing what a good coach and his players buying into what he is trying to teach them can do in a year.

Yep. The O Line is definitely elite.

Oh if we only had a defense. Patterson and this O Line would be getting the national attention they deserve. Bray might not have pressed so much either, limiting his turnovers and possibly elevating his prominence. Oh well.

An elite rb like Green next year with a sr laden line has the potential to be absurd, depending on several factors, of course.

Most of the great coaches here on VN says our coaches suck and we need to fire them, LOL.

CDD made a promise at the end of last season that he would fix our running game and he DID that.

Most on here said all our RB's sucked BUT even with our starting RB out for the last 2 games I saw several different RB's being used and we ran the ball well against top SEC defence teams...Bama D is ranked number 1 and SC D is ranked 9th in the Nation.

Hats off to our RB's and I guess they really didn't suck after all so MOST of the posters on here were simply WRONG, as usual.

Most on here said our O line sucked but with the horrid coaching that CDD has brought to Tennessee I happen to see 1 of the BEST O lines in college football.

Now all those WRONG posters here on VN say all our Defence coaches suck too BUT they'll never admit that learning the 3-4 D takes 2 YEARS even in the NFL and they expected our 3-4 D to be ranked number 2 in the nation right behind alaBubba that's had their 3-4 D ranked number 1 for 2 years in a row.

Shame on CDD for wanting a 3-4 D that's ranked in the top 5 every year and helps Tennessee Win SEC Championships.

Shame on CDD for trying to copy the Success of Saban and Belichick and other great proven coaches.

Shame on CDD for bringing in PROVEN successful coaches that really know the 3-4 like the back of their hands like CSS.

When CSS and this D coaching staff was hired most on here jumped for joy and constantly talked about how great these new coaches were....Now all the great coaches here on VN that have been so WRONG for so long say that CSS and our D coaches suck...Just like they said our O linemen and RB's all sucked.
CDD did fix our running game and CDD and CSS will fix our defence too but now all these WRONG people can do is yell. scream, call CDD names and demand that CDD and this coaching staff be fired instantly.

Will any of these great VN coaches ever admit they were wrong before and just might be wrong again?

NEVER...All these WRONG people that scream for CDD to be fired ARE the same WRONG people that all Summer screamed that Tennessee is easily a 9 or 10 Win team this season and they were WRONG about that too but they can NEVER admit that they were WRONG about anything because they're all GREAT coaches...........on Madden maybe but NOT about rebuilding a real college football team.

At least there's alot of good humor here on VN, LMAO!

What more proof of improvement do we need than yesterday's performance against South Carolina and Clowney. Except for the play where Bray was hit and fumbled, the O-line (especially the tackles) were playing lights out. And they were doing alot of it without a running back or tight end being left in to chip block in support.

I do not know for sure who will be coaching this group next season, but they are a big part of the reason that the coach next season is going to have an easier time of doing his job.

Proud of this group. They are all going to play in the NFL soon and make big bucks doing it.

I agree 100%! If allowed to stay, the D will improve next year under CDD and SAL. Just imagine if the D improves as much next year as the run game improved this year. HEY! we would be 7-1 or better at this point next year.
But what the he!! lets start over.

All of our O-linemen are going to be playing in the league. Tiny has a very good shot at being a high first round draft pick.
