Anyone with updated info on the books availability please post.

Looking for a copy or 2 and not having much luck.

Prospects don't look good. Wouldbe buyers probably are now faced with the task of tracking copies down through the used-book market as they become available. And it is always difficult to predict how long it will take before copies are listed through online sources. No used copies are currently listed on Amazon.com, alibris.com or abebooks.com.

I was afraid of that. With this being a novelty I could see the used market being slim to non existent. Maybe they will reproduce some more in the future since it seems to be a popular item.

I have been watching amazon for months and it has remained unavailable. Doesn't look good for any new or used ones.

Ya that's why I posted it to everyone here about Falcon Press's situation. Hopefully the Kozar family gets this up and running soon. The book truly is amazing from a historical perspective.

Given the subject material, Neyland's stature, the scholarly nature of the manuscript and the facts that the book was authored by Dr. Andy Kozar, who played for Neyland and was a longtime faculty member at UT, I would hope that the Kozar family would approach the University of Tennessee Press about a reprint edition. Could there possible be a more logical choice for a second-edition publisher? The gilt edging and leather binding could be dispensed with to lower the price point of this volume.

If the book is well put together I don't mind paying extra for a better cover and binding.

It is perhaps the most scholarly work I've ever seen on Neyland or football in general. I've read engineering papers whose authors didn't have as much in sight into their subject matter as Dr Kozar.

Just called and ordered one, well they're calling me back. Talked to ann who took my information. She said they have hundreds in stock. Call now and get one for your father or grandfather! Do it!

I just ordered one for my dad. They have been selling alot of these in the past couple days. She said they have less than 100 left that they can sell to the general public. After those are gone the remaining lot will go to the Kozar family and they will be selling them. So if someone misses out and dont get one direct from Falcon, she said to call them and they will put you in touch with the Kozar family so you can get a copy at a reasonable price.
