Greatness. I remember Tennessee athletics when that word could be used to describe it. That was unfortunately far too long ago. Has anyone noted that those times of greatness, we had an AD that had actually played/coached football & a head coach that had actually played at Tennessee.... contrast that with recently we’ve had athletic directors that don’t have an athletic bone in their body much less any knowledge of sports given all the time they spent studying for those business management degrees (that comment stretches all the way back to Hamilton) & coaches that have no true loyalty to UT. We need an athletic director that has actually played sports & a coach that has given blood, sweat & tears as an orange clad Volunteer.

Fire Currie! Bring in Phil!

Go Vols!

Agree 1 million percent with the fire Currie part. Not so much with the bring back Phil. Phil is a good man, but has been out of coaching for a long time. We need someone who can relate to the players, bring in some swag and attitude, and develop talent. We need someone who has a powerful Offense, and who knows the SEC. We need a great recruiter. One guy fits that description that is willing to come here to coach. That is Kiffin.

I meant Phil for AD.

Not completely on board w/ a Kiffin return. Think we’d be better off taking a chance on Tee Martin or Kevin Steele as HC.

The football prgram is not going to flourish until Jimmy Haslam gets his hands out of it. Whomever the AD or coach is doesnt matter.

I’d welcome back Fulmer with Martin as HC in waiting with a planned transition laid out ahead of time. That’s one way you get out of this mess.
