Florida's motivation could be motivation for us also

I'm not drinking the kool-aid here, but...

If I know this staff, they will have this team motivated. Ready to bust some facemasks. Florida's upset about Meyers comments? Screw that...

What about the comments Meyer said about us? The comment about how Troy is more talented? All the media calling Kiffin a big mouth that can't back it up. CSS making fun of Kiffin with their Tombstone skit. What about us? They never talk about how we are motivated to bust some heads this weekend, It's all Florida this, Florida that. The only reason they mention UT is to note that we will get our asses handed to us. Well I say F that!

Exactly right.. And no one is mentioning that we have one of the best defenses in the country, they will have to score on us. As long as we don't give up big plays on Special Teams and Offense, then our D will hold its own. Remember '98... You don't have to have steller play from your QB if your D holds strong. Just hold on to the ball. Go Vols!

I agree. ALL of the major networks have hopped on the FL bandwagon. They don't even consider this a game. I am tired of hearing about it. The defense should be good this year, so far they have been. But all these "experts" sit around and think about how many points FL will put on us and think FL will score at will. I hope we can prove the nation wrong

They are not going to score 50 or 60 points on our defense. No way. I don't understand the line of 28 at all. Do they think we are a high school team or something? It's like the line is higher because the mighty Gators are motivated? SO WHAT, they are motivated to beat us every year. I don't get it.

Isnt the forecast for the game like 90% chance of heavy rain? which would mean its gonna be tough to throw the football down field i think our running game is better than thiers.

i dont know about the forecats but I definitely think our running game is better between the tackles. if they get in space then they are still fast. Bad news is our center and qb have had exchange issues and rain would only worsen that. I hate to do this but remember the 2002 downpour in Neyland that Casey clausen couldnt get a clean snap. (BAD TIMES):cray:

I believe they are factoring in our QB throwing some INT's which will result in a short field or pick 6

There may be a miniscule chance that UT's power running game would perform better than UF's speed attack... if Tebow doesn't kill them by himself.

I know if I had pads on... I would be crackin' some skulls. I've heard nothing but trash talk all week. From Bill King on Rivals Radio, who seems to always bash us, to this Chris Dufrense(?) guy with the LA Times, who said..."what ever Florida is favored by, double it". I just don't see how some of these "analysts" figure it out. Our offense may be bad right now, but we have talent, and our D is a$$ kicking. I just don't see them winning by 29.

I really don't know what goes on in young kids heads these days, but all the garbage thats been spewing out of the media's mouth would have me ready to run through a brick wall too get to Tebow. They'd have to sever my legs to slow me down. Enough is enough. Its bad enough to lose the game, but when you know they want to embarrass you, then i just wouldn't stand for it even if i had to play dirty.

There is gonna be so much motivation, and lack of respect on the field saturday that it will cause an electrical surge, and half the state of Florida will be without power.

The only difference between 98 and 2009 is that Martin was a leader and the team surrounded him. Until Crompton rises it's not the same. I did like it when Crompton got off the bench and tried to rally the troops. too bad we had 3 sorry plays in a row on the goal line.
