probaly right. I was watching ESPN last week and they were saying who has more on their shoulders to win. Kiffin or Weis and they all picked Weis. They said with Weis's high recruits year in and year out that if he didn't win 9 games and go to a BCS bowl that he will be out.

If that happened and Urban went to ND the Gator nation would be crying but they might be able to get Ron back lololol

I really believe that Urban Cryer will bail when Tim Teblow leaves. ND will mak him an offer he can't refuse. Then Spurrier will retire a gator, lol.

IMO, except for Florida, the SEC is a bit down this year. Florida's two biggest games appear on paper to be at LSU and hosting FSU. Georgia, UT, South Carolina, these are teams that are either rebuilding or reorganizing and Florida, on paper, is just head and shoulders above everyone else in the conference.

It would be very easy for the Gators to start taking teams for granted. But its still the SEC, these teams are all good, and so Florida has to guard against ... complacency.

Uhhh...no. It's called motivation and I don't expect you to understand what that is. Remember when Georgia danced in the endzone in 2007 when they beat Florida? What happened the next season? That's right, Georgia suffered a 49-10 beat down. Tennessee will get beat down too because of Kiffin running his mouth.

Oh, I completely am. The fans who have been fans for more than five years surely will be pumped for UT-Florida. But most of the guys on this football team simply do not remember a time when the UT game meant as much as us fans know it means. I wouldn't go so far as saying they might take it for granted, but most of them just do not remember playing a competitive game against UT.

Im gonna say this for the last time. CLK HAS NOTHING TO LOSE! We've had it handed to us for the better part of 20 years now. The last two years combined score was 89-29. So if we go down there and get killed again, how's that different than before. I'm so sick of this "Florida's gonnna show him for running his mouth off" crap. Give me a freakin break.

LG i am still left with the question as to why Florida responded in the way they did. There are other ways to inspire the players to play harder. By sending foley in and posting Kiffins comments all around your stadium you made the situation bigger than it ever would have become. This situation has allowed Tennessee to gain national publicity and this has certainly not hurt our recruting efforts.

I think that's giving Urban way too much credit. He deserves some of it, but he's not what makes the Gators who they are.

The Vols learned to respect them under a different coach, so CUM is not doing anything that extraordinary considering the conditions he HAD in the state of Florida (i.e. if both FSU and UM had been been as weak during the Spurrier era, SOS would have dominated nationally). Now, of course, UT recruits in Florida and that will continue considering the most Beloved coach in the state left Tampa to join the Vols.

It's not the coach. It's the talent the state produces that makes UF worth respecting--and it's disrespectful for CUM to keep claiming all the glory those players have earned.

Tebow is a big part of the UF talent and heart, but they have plenty of other talented players. Many who graduate this year.

So, Urban can claim the 2010 outcome when Timmy and his boys are gone, but 2009 belongs to Timmy and the Gator players. They really deserve to be celebrating this summer instead of sitting around looking at photos of Coach Lane Kiffin that CUM himself placed in their space.

In my 30+ years of going to Florida for vacations and an equal number going to games I can honestly say that they are some of the stupidest people on earth.

They are ate up with transplants from the north that think because they put hubcaps on Chevy's for 30 years and got a big payout from from a bailed out auto maker they are smarter than the typical native southerner.

I've got news for em. F you and please quit coming half way back, we don't want you.

Screw Florida and their stupid fans that have no class.
