i just heard some idiot from florida on the sports animal say that florida wide recievers are the best in the nation and then he went on to say they are better then most recievers in any nfl camp... common thats rediculous.. we had one of the not so good secondarys last year and they didnt just pass all over us. i just thought that should be known!

Thats way overboard..but UF did have alot of success picking apart the UT secondary last yr for 286 yds on 22 of 31 passing. I expect the same this yr since I dont think Leak will be real effective running the ball.

For a second I was worried, then I remembered Vandy and Kentucky did pretty well too, the the fear went away. Anyway this is a new year, and we have the tools and the talent, and Allen (I don't mean to imply he has no talent, he is awesome, I just wanted to bring him up by name.) to boot. I say bring it.

How is that 313 yard passing average that MTSU and Southern Miss hung on you working out?

He was good... Better than any QB we will face all year, excluding any potential bowl games *cough*MATTLEINART*cough*

Agreed!

Hackney will play on Sundays somewhere. He was a monster who is very hard to get down in the pocket.

I'd take him over Leak and at this point I'd take him over Ainge.

Clausen will be the man after tomorrow.

How about bammer sign up UAB and we'll see how they do? They would probably play (and beat) you for free! Hackney is the best college QB in Alabama, hope Croyle took notes.

Just remember Got Twelve, just because the school you beat has Tennessee in the name, doesn't mean you beat the Vols.

Thats funny. Is this the same LEak that ran the ball a few times vs. Miami in the Peach Bowl on 3rd downs and slid 2 yards before the 1st down marker? He couldnt take a hit to keep the drive moving. Yah, he'll be real effective running the ball. He looks like Richard Simmons running the ball. Leak tries to look so cool with that towel on his pants, he tries to keep neat and clean during a football game. Yah, I se him running on us. We will knock the piss out of him.

Caldwell and Baker are also big time players if they show up. Probably the best group of WR's our secondary faces this other than in practice.

BAITERGAITER, you had the yardage but you didn't have the points again. Moving the ball only counts if the "W" goes in your column.

florida recievers are good but dont get me wrong when i say they arent the best. we will see how good they are when jason allen is covering them and not some blind kid...

UF's WR's are VEEEERY good, but saying that they're better then NFL WR's is just dumb. They MAY be the best in the country (too soon to tell, but they are very talented), but are nowhere near the level of an NFL corps. Still, I expect them to pass all over UT, tonights the night :)

UF's WR's were the best so-to-say in 2002, 2003, and 2004.....what good it did them
