I think Rick had better be our starter and somebody had better figure out why Eric keeps overthrowing recievers....

well i am ready to see what our dline can do when they are unleashed. I know we havent showed anything yet and once we start bringing the heat and blitz like mad people i think we can take florida.

Allen has proven himself to be a shutdown player. I just hope some one else can step up.

Lord, I need a couple of days to recover from this game before I talk about UF. :boredom:

Hackney's elusiveness forced our D-line to stay back... they'll be after Leak full tilt. We'll see how well he handles it, in the past he's gotten rattled, but he may have matured now... UM will probably have a plan to slow down that D-line as well.

We'll see. I still have confidence that our guys will step up to the challenge of a game with the Gators and play to their potential, winning a close game with a team that executed better than many of us expected this week.

Cant wait. I think UFs game today made believers out of some of you guys. UF will be ready. And if UT isnt ready to play ( like they werent today) it will get ugly in the swamp pretttttty quick. ( I dont think thats gonna be the case though).

I don't think it was a matter of being ready or not. We started fast, but we made some mistakes that kept UAB in the game.

The one thing that we did do well was stop the run.

I wouldn't take a 20 point win over lowly Wyoming as proof of UF's greatness. If that's what you want to hang your hat on, go right ahead.

I think both teams are probably wondering what the heck they've got.

well you never know man. I don't think we have seen even half of the real Tennessee and I dont think we have seen half of the real Florida either. Yes Tennessee had a close game today but you just never know. I still think it will come down to the running game and if ours gets going and yall run like you did today, it can get ugly. But it can get ugly the other way.

Oh yeah. No doubt UT can and will play much better. In years past UT has been slow starters, and with the conservative style Fulmer plays, blowouts dont happen sometimes.

The game will be exciting. Cant wait. Whatever happened to beltways urban myth countdown thread? (havent been here in a while) LOL.

hehe We can certainly agree that we're already ready for that game!

I also agree with NC, the extra game should work in UF's favor, not against it.

Sorry to be so confronting GV, I originally got the sense that you were taking a 17-10 win over UAB as not being as quality as UF's win over Wyoming.

I just hope to have as much fun watching this year's game as I had for last year... I didn't give up hope, and it paid off... I nearly died from the heart attack, but that's why people ride roller coasters too, right? :D

:p You know what I'm saying... that feeling of living on the edge. That IS the fun of a coaster. hehehe Not saying I'd MIND beating you guys soundly, but I highly doubt that. We only beat the worst of the worst like a drum, everyone mediocre and better, we like to keep it close with.
