I haven't heard anything and have read nothing in the Orlando Sentinel about it. Had there been anything of note, I'd think it would be published in the Sentinel as Orlando has a very large UF population.

so that's why Orlando is overrated...

I talked to my source in Naples and he says it's a whisper campaign. They do not want to give away the all crucial bulletin board material that would motivate the Vols to victory.

There was a clown walking around in front of Neyland Saturday carrying a poster and yelling, "seven more days til the gators invade Knoxville". I was disappointed that a student didn't clock him.

Good one.

Actually, a Gator player got in some hot water with Meyer about ten days ago because, right before the Miami game, he made some comments about them no longer being "The U." My suspicion is that Meyer put the kibosh on any taunting this week.

Meyer knows that his national championship team should have lost in their last trip to Neyland.

Crikes, this debate again? That one point win in 2006 was deceptive on the scoreboard. Florida controlled the line of scrimmage throughout. South Carolina was a tougher out than you guys that year.

They may be again this year, too.

There'll be smack talking and a little bit of cocky swagger whenever big plays are made in games like these. I like to see it sometimes.

The fact that we were behind on the scoreboard at a particular point does not change the fact that the scoreboard then, or at the end of the game, was misleading as to who was in control of that game. That was the end of the Chris Leak era, when even though we had gobs of talent around him, he just did not have that drive to deliver the knockout punch.

I fully admit Florida caught a dozen breaks that year to win the NC. Most teams need a few. But blocking three kicks and avoiding a crushing loss against South Carolina at home was a bigger deal in the scheme of things than overcoming that worst of all worlds feeling of beating someone up and down the line and then looking up at the end and being behind in the score.

We've all been through that. Nothing worse than significantly outgaining your opponent, feeling like you were in charge the whole way, but somehow not having more point than them at the very end.

that was back in august, before we sucked against ucla.

That was back in early August. A lot has changed since then.

Is that supposed to stop the Gators from using it for motivational purposes? It doesn't matter when it was said, that fact is it was said.

Don't get me wrong, I hope the Vol defense lays down fear in their eyes and shuts down Tebow to the point where he takes his ball and goes home. I just don't think we need to give them any motivation on top of the confidence they will have entering the game.

I saw him. I wanted to do something awful to that guy, but I was in line at the money wall and I didn't want to embarrass the people I was with.

hindsight is always 20/20

florida cornerback Joe Hayden said the game that FL gets up for is GA. he said he doesn't know anything about UT and that we are just another SEC game.
