Florida should be worried

Guess you have to find something to hold onto.

Considering our history with Florida, I see no reason why next week will be any different. Me thinks it's going to resemble the 08 game.

I agree. I think it will be around the neighborhood of 30-6 in favor of the boys in Orange and Blue!!!

Floridas defense has 8 picks in the last two weeks.... I know everybody hates Florida, but they're better than the Ducks.

No, they aren't. Florida still has some issues on offense. Obviously Oregon doesn't.

Unless we execute better next week, fl has nothing to worry about.

Would love to beat them but thats not gonna happen with that horrible offensive planning.

Florida is not playing very good football. A decent football team stands a chance of beating Florida this year. Problem is, we are not a decent football team.

Florida is literally better than Oregon at every position except for RB. At QB they're the same, but at pretty much every other position Florida is bigger, faster, and all around more talented.

Oregon is however better coached on offense.

Florida worked out the kinks in the second half today. Least we all forget, USF has consistently put defensive players in the NFL and has 8 or more wins each of the last 4 seasons. They thrive off all the Florida talent that doesn't have the grades to get into UF, UM, and FSU.

Selvie, pierre-paul and Jenkins don't really qualify as "consistently"

Florida should be worried about hurricanes and old people at early bird specials, thats about it right now until they get into the meat of their schedule.

We actually have a D coordinator now that seems to know what he's doing when it comes to stopping the spread.

I think after tonight the "Monte can't stop the spread" crowd needs to STFU. As I said all last year, the problem is the talent and depth (i.e., lack thereof) left behind by the Krispy Kreme King. This unit couldn't stop a good offense if we hired Dick LeBeau.

I can understand why you would think that UF's offense stinks after the first game, but did you see the second half today? Believe we finished with 423 total offense, more than 250 from rushing. The QB who destroyed FSU last year completed one more pass (5) than he had intercepted (4). I thought we looked good on offense in the second half.

By the way, despite the second half mistakes, I thought you guys looked good and that Dooley is going to be a fine coach. Although I like us for the game this coming week, I think Dooley will quickly restore our old rivalry.

Didn't they get beat by Rutgers 31-0 last year and conneticut? I'm not saying they are as bad as UT Martin but it's not like Florida played a good team Saturday.

USF has been better than UT over the last few seasons. They drop a few games they shouldn't, but for the most part, they're a decent team.

USF is absolute garbage this year. You lose to a USF team from 08 or 09. Not saying based on your performance i like our chances next week, just feel good you played two scrubs to start out the year to iron out the offensive transition from last year.

This will be a repeat of the '07 game, except Eric Berry won't be back to get a pick 6.

I wasn't speaking about Monte, I was speaking about Chavis. Monte wasn't here long enough to make a proper evaluation of his skill at stopping the spread.

I'm not trying to badmouth USF by the way. They have been much improved as of late.
