Florida or Alabama?

Florida. Period.

....And I hate Alabama the most. But I'm going to the Florida game this year, because if there's ever been a "must win" for the Vols, it's that one.

It's sickening to consider losing to those dirty gators, same goes for Bama. I'm glad #120 will set things right.

Which is more important?

If you lose to florida but win salami convincingly at the most difficult point of your season you have a chance to take it all and blame florida on "the curse." If you beat florida you make a bunch of 20 somethings happy but lose to salami you are going NOWHERE.

Even if by some luck you make it to ATL. nobody will believe you can do it and even the team will have no confidence they can do it, and if you lose twice you are a dud, even if you win ATL. people will say its a fluke. The season depends on beating salami, and beating them soundly no matter how you slice it. Beat them convincingly and you have a shot at a natty.

First ... eff Florida and eff Bama. Discussing beating only one of the two for me is the equivalent of being given the death penalty and choice of death by a thousabd cuts or by sliding down a 50 foot razor blade. Death is death either way and losing to either of these two is a devastating loss so let's beat 'em both.

I don't see how TC can believe that going 11-1 and only losing to Bama means we would be dead in the water. That would be an exceptional season. Not just anyone beat's Bama. If we went 11-1 we would be in Atlanta with a chance to beat Alabama again and a shot at the playoffs.

There is no way we would be "dead in the water." Florida is by far the most important game on our schedule this year.
