Florida opens as 3 point favorites

Damn guys! Where have y'all been the past 10 years? It's FLA until we beat them. I'll take FLA straight up until UT proves otherwise. They're in our head, it's at the Swamp and we ALWAYS find a way to lay a giant turd against these guys.

Not sure how a real Vol fan can think that way

Fact

Florida is a tough match-up. Again, our w/r must get separation, exploit the middle slant/seams and pass-action pass. Of course, we need to anoint the backup's backup QB as the best QB in the SEC. This is the same issues as the past several years. These are well-known requirements within the halls of VolNation, but the team has yet to execute on them and continued to yank defeat from the jaws of victory.

Oh geez, here we go...

I'm pulling for the VOLS, but I live in the reality of what the series has been for a long time now. If I'm a betting man, I take the Gators straight up. So is Vegas btw.

Dale Doe say: up to CBJ & staff to have successful game plan, or another stinky Turd will be laid once again💩

Theyve played Eastern carolina, new mexico state, and UK. Weve played a good opponent in BGSU and a top 15 team in OU. I wonder if that makes a difference.

We're both speculating. It comes down to whether or not you think OU has a good pass defense or not. They sure looked good vs Tennessee when they held Dobbs to 13-31 passing, 125 yds and a 20.5 QBR.

However, they looked kinda dreadful yesterday when they allowed the Tulsa QB to throw for 430+ yds, 4tds and a 84 QBR....the same Tulsa QB who was held to 24-49 passing, 2 interceptions and a 24 QBR vs Florida Atlantic.

I don't know, we're gonna have to wait and see I guess. I'm just not remotely impressed with any facet of our offense to tell the truth. Hope they find a way this Saturday at Florida....it's been forever since we've looked like even a decent team vs the Gators. I'd gladly take a 2-0 win in Gainesville at this point.

Any Defense can break if their offense goes 3 and out every other drive and with a work horse like Jalen Hurd, I think UF Line will break in the 4th. UF doesnt have an offense anywhere close to Oklahoma's.

UF doesn't have an offense close to some high schools. It is all on the defense. Starting to look like a darn good defense, though.

fla favored? this is an insult--they barely beat east carolina and kentucky. Tenn is not getting any respect as usual---butch should put the point spread on the bulletin board to motivate the players.

Why do we deserve respect? When in the past 10 Years have we deserved it?

Not only that but the one thing FLA still have even lately when they have been down is the fast athletic defense. Exactly the type of defense Butch's offensive system has so far never been able to deal with. You can be sure they will try to play us like OU defense did in the second half and let's hope that our coaches have learned something from that (although even if against all odds they admit their mistake and decide to open up and try to use the receivers who knows if Dobbs can actually consistently deliver the ball - highly doubtful at this point).
