The only thing that bodes well in this match up is fla is unranked (like the Vols). Our record vs. ranked teams is abysmal. :hi:

I just bet horses, but if you're willing to take a smaller payout, I'd be very comfortable increasing the line to 4. Don't see Florida going beyond a field goal to win.

We beat a BG team by more than 4 TD's who then went out the next week and destroyed Maryland. That BG team is also picked to win their division over a Toledo team that beat AR and a NIU team that almost beat OSU.

We then choked (yes choked) against OK with a lead of 17-3 with only about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

We then destroyed WCU.

You have looked bad against every team you faced and came very close to losing to FL.

I would not pick us ever to win against FL until we actually starting doing it...because for some reason you all our in our heads.

But we have looked much better than you guys so far.

If we get on a roll, I could see us beating you 42-17.

I love the Vols +3. Hell, I would take them money line if I weren't emotionally invested. Florida looks like a disaster with decent D.

Strange, unexplainable things happen in this series, always to Tennessee's detriment. Even when we have started fast, played well and carried a 2 TD lead in the second half we have gotten obliterated....1995 game in Gainesville...never seen anything like it before or since.

Theyve played Eastern carolina, new mexico state, and UK. Weve played a good opponent in BGSU and a top 15 team in OU. I wonder if that makes a difference.
