UT could still get the Sugar Bowl by winning out -- no way will they want a boring team like UF

It's not a "want" decision; it's contract is highest ranked SEC team (in CFP rankings) if the SEC Champion is in the playoffs.

That said UF losing to Alabama (and possibly FSU as well) would likely drop the Gators below UT.
