Florida Looks Beatable

Any decent SEC team is capable of beating Florida..... The problem is we aren't a decent SEC team. There isn't a position group on the field we could call elite. There are a couple that could be considered good or arguably very good but we just aren't a very good team. I'd like to see what this young team looks like a year or two from now though if Pruitt can keep it together.

Reading through these threads one would wonder to themselves why in the hell some of you waste your time being here. Can’t figure it out. Maybe your wife, girlfriend or mom has had enough of your whining and you got no place else to go to bash the team. If you honestly don’t think we have a shot at Florida, don’t watch. Dont listen to it on the radio. Just stay away. Mow the lawn or go play golf.

I love when people post garbage about teams looking beatable after Tn has shown no real ability to pass or stop anyone from scoring except Chattanooga.
What else should we talk about? How bad Tennessee is? Think that one has been covered pretty well. As a matter of fact that’s about all that’s posted from most of you.

I don’t think the Florida game is gonna be what many on here thinks it is gonna be.

I hope that UT defenders develop a mean streak.

I hope that the offense flourishes and JG has a fantastic game.

After watching UT this year, I'm also a realist and understand that this team is very limited and can only go as far as their QB takes them.

Florida is beatable, Kentucky backed off the pressure as soon as florida put in the backup. I guess they were scared after losing another safety. Never play scared against florida, always play aggressive. The few times they put pressure on Trask he threw balls away and nearly had one picked. Kentucky outplayed them until the middle of the 4th quarter and they went into a shell. If our players believe they can win, they can win. We have to go play our best game to date, I think we are primed to do that. GBO!

With so many positive (not!) Vol fans on here, why don't ya'll just turn in your Orange and go root for someone else? Ya'll would still be a bunch of Negative Nancy's on here if we won the Natty this year. You make Tennessee look bad, must be a bunch of illegals, cause you can't be from Tennessee with ya'll's attitude, must not have much of a life outside of this site.

So a win against an FCS team translates into a victory in Gainesville?

As much as I would enjoy it, the odds of it happening are slim. Very slim.
Everyone knows the odds are thin, but most have a realistic view that anything can happen in sports. We once lost to Memphis and went 10-2!!

not an answer on your part except maybe trolling. My take is the same as many others posting that the new Qb may present more of a challenge than Frank’s.
We'll put you and all the others in the boat with all of the fans that think the backup QB is usually better than the starter. LOL, why do coaches keep starting the wrong QB!! Good luck with that.

I don’t know why some fans are saying we don’t even have a chance. If we come out and play hard and get some breaks, I think we could win. Obviously we could end up getting blasted, but there’s definitely a chance.

I guess you missed the word “may” in my post. Are you aware of the history with Frank’s and Trask last year ?, apparently not. Plus look at the performance tonight for both. I believe you may be the one who has a ridiculous take.
