No, they really don't. If you subtract the players who didn't make it in, from their 2019 signing class, it falls below Tennessee's class of 2019. And their class of 2020, so far, is better than Tennessee's, but not significantly so, in terms of player average. We will see how we both finish.Because of the last 2 years against Mullen.
Because of Pruitt's inability to have his team prepared for the first half of the season.
And the recruiting sites disagree with you.
Florida was given 7 points and Virginia should at minimum had scored 7 more. This could have gone down to the end. Virginia at least should come away with this loss that they were competitive with an Sec and top 10 team. Something to carry forward year. IMO this game is a good indicator about how Florida would fare against Clemson. It would be a rout in Clemson’s favor.

I agree with you. I'm just pointing out that Florida signed a lot of highly rated players in the 2019 class who are not currently enrolled at the University of Florida. Chris Steele immediately comes to mind.Because recruiting rankings mean everything right? Sure they are nice but the emphasis on rankings nowadays are absurd. Pruitt is getting guys he knows he can evaluate and develop.
Mullen was forced to do that with “leftovers” aka 2/3 stars every year and succeeded.
It is not that they would lose but lose big. They would not be competitive against Clemson and it would be like a D1 against a D3 team.Wait a minute.
Are you telling me Florida wouldn't beat a team that's played for the national title 4 times in the last 5 years and has won 29 in a row?
Shocked! Shocked, I tell you!
He over achieved at what is arguably the second worst job in the SEC. Now he has a 11 win year. To argue he isn’t good is laughable.Wrong. Mullen never wanted to come here. He went to the school with a much more talented roster. No good HC wanted to follow what Botch Jones did. That loser dodo his best to destroy this program.
Mullen isn’t as good as some think he is.
Cousin Eddie knows how to maintain a $hitter too. What a job Dan Mullen has done. Inherited a 4-win team and has rattled off a 21-5 record. He’s also improved recruiting at Florida, the future is bright.

When you play teams that good, stuff like that can happen. So, if that were to be the case, I would not be shocked.
What I can tell you is that we played LSU in Baton Rouge at night and the game was in doubt in the 4th quarter.

Florida is not playing now like the first couple of weeks when Trask became the starter. When you play teams that good, stuff like that can happen. So, if that were to be the case, I would not be shocked.

Steele was a high 4 star recruit and well inside of 247's top 100 nationally. He is a good example of why your 2019 class was rated higher than it would have been, if the class rankings were done AFTER the season started. If it makes you feel better to think that he wasn't much of a loss, that is fine (we do the same $hit in the recruiting forum all the time). That doesn't change how he was ranked by the recruiting services.Chris Steele was our 5th best CB, got abused consistently in practice and outplayed by fellow true freshmen Elam and Kimbrough, then bailed.
Very poor example.
Winning 15 in a row against your in-state rival tends to shrink their fan base! But, UVA may have finally found a coach that can get the program headed in the right direction.Majority of people in and around the Abingdon area I know or have met are usually Tech fans. Hokie this and Hokie that, don't see too many Wahoo fans around there.
