First no smart comments, this is series business!!👀🤣 For that reason, I'll post medical updates in Tiffany's thread! God willing, flying in Wednesday the 15th. Short, straight flight, so after the fiery crash, should be there, and off the plane by 10am. First order of business, car rental. Do I want compact, small SUV, sports car? They're all within the same price! We have all day Wednesday to do whatever, then first appointment at 8 Thursday morning. After that, probably going to drive to Naples, not too far of a drive according to my Google machine. Her Friday appointment was moved from 8 am in Weston, to like 4 in Coral springs. We'll have all morning to get into something, then likely go find that mahi burrito place again for dinner! I gotta get a rental booked, leaning small SUV, the floor is yours!

Why would you drive to Naples? You're going to be on the East Coast, right? Ft. Lauderdale Miami area?

Yes, but I love the gulf ocean 👀🤣. We went to the beach there last time, and just want to see a different part while we have a chance. One of her friends really got her hyped up about it, cause she'd been recently, so we're going for the day Thursday, after her appointment.

I bet you will beat the paramedics to the crash scene by 30 minutes.

Gulf ocean. Lulz.

Naples is beautiful, but so are other places closer to you and not as expensive. But that's cool, enjoy. If you're gonna go that far you might as well take 15-20 more minutes and go to Doc's in Bonita. It's a cool little place right on the beach.

Is she having surgery this trip? If so, even if it’s laparoscopic (keyhole surgery), rent something that is easy for her to get in and out of. Neither climbing (up) in or out, nor falling into or out of. The last thing you want to do after abdominal surgery is a lot of twisting.

Small SUVs would work if the seat can be lowered for easy in/out. Emphasis on “if”. I ruled out buying a Toyota Rav 4, even though they’re great, because it was just a bit too awkward when my left leg would go on strike.

Definitely making a note of that, thanks.

No surgery this trip. Meeting the Dr who will do the inside stuff Thursday, and the Dr who will work on the stoma that Friday. Our next trip will be for surgery. Probably fly down for that, but Dr already told me no flying home with her after surgery, it'll be a road trip.

Somebody told me that they have beaches down there that are covered in drug needles and used prophylactics. Be careful.
