if he was honestly trying to make money, then the man was an idiot. He would have made tons wearing UT stuff.

as a salesman you have to separate yourself from your competition. How many people bought from him just to say they got their drink from some kid wearing gator gear? I would bet it's more than you realize

I'm so sick of seeing this crap. They should tell him he can not work wearing that crap, it's just disrespectful at Neyland. At the WKU game I saw two little kids bout 5 and 6 way down in lower level first 10 rows wearing Tebow jerseys, WTF.

Then I go outside after the game and was standing by gate 16 and this freakin guy was walking through the crowd all by himself decked out in Florida gear, jersey, hat shorts, bandanna, hat, socks.

I pushed him into traffic..............just kiddin, but I wanted to. :whistling:

I am in Y10 and saw this guy, too. At one point another guy was walking down the stairs behind him and I heard him say, "Hey, Gator. Where are your jorts?"

What happened to the Hot Dog/Coke Vendor $2.50 shirts? Those are classics. I bought one of each off of vendors in 04 as part of a bet made at a pregame tailgate. And I think last year I remember them being $3.00. Inflation.

you have a point. I'm sure some people would've bought from him. I just couldn't do it.

I know exactly who the kid is. I saw him because I sat in Z12 Saturday. He and his mother have been Florida fans as long as I have known him, which is about 11 years. He graduated from Alcoa High School this past year where he played football. I have zero idea what he does now, where he goes to school, if at all, where he works, etc. I just know he and his mother have always been big gators fans. He, especially has been very in your face about it for many years, even as a small kid and he obviously has not changed. Z12 and the other surrounding sections were ripping him a new one. I loved it!!

hello, I am the Gator fan who was selling drinks at the ut-ucla game. First off, I am not a UF grad, I am a senior in high school(havn't graduated yet TY4K). I was selling the drinks with my youth group to raise money for mission trips to South America. So if you didn't buy anything because I'm a Gator fan, God Bless You anyways. I do not own a pair of jorts so I wasn't wearing them at the WKU game. Yes I did get booed but I dont care, I will wear the Orange and Blue with pride. At least I didn't get booed as much as Crompton. Believe it or not, I did make money(sold more than anyone in my group in fact). I don't see why i shouldn't wear my team's logo with pride while they were playing Troy when I arrived at the stadium(we got there around 1:30). To the UT fans who were not being rude, thank you. It was nice to see that not all Vol fans are ignorant. I was not ashamed of my UF gear, or the comments I got for it. I expected it and had a smile on the whole time. Thanks for starting this thread, it makes me feel special that all of you want to talk about me. GOD BLESS.:) And GO GATORS. :)

Well as the preacher said the good lord would rather have 10% of a millionaire than a poor man. Good luck on your mission but wearing Florida gear while trying to sell product at a Vols home game leaves a lot to be desired as a marketing plan.

You are entitled to wear what you like, but to come to our house to raise money for a mission trip for your church in that garb is disrespectful and very poor taste on your part!

u don't have to lie about the jorts. they are considered gameday attire by many of your fellow gators.

God Bless and go gators should never be used in the same paragraph either.

Yes, I saw you, also. My wife and I were sitting in section B and almost bought from you, but I realized what I was about to do. Instead I got up and walked to the concession to buy our beverages.

Now, I don't consider myself a 'know it all' sales man, but wearing Florida hat and tee while working for tips in Neyland Stadium doesn't sound too smart in raising the maxium funds for your youth group. Maybe you should enroll at UT and take a few business classes...don't know, just me, but could help.

I wasn't working for ut fans, I was working for God. I am not nor will I ever do anything to help Lane Kiffin as a coach. "God Bless" and "Go Gators" is being used together a lot these days. And think about it this way, I was definatly the most noticable vendor in the stadium. To those who are still hating, I'm sorry that my colors offended you, but I'm not sorry that I wore them. And for the record, we also had 2 other UF fans in our group along with 1 Auburn and 1 Marshall fan, the rest were vols. God Bless and Go Gators. :)

unless 100% of the proceeds went to your group (which would be asinine) you were helping out Coach Kiffin. He thanks you for your support

Every bit of evidence points to bandwagon. In every aspect of your life.

You'll figure it out with time.
