I read yesterday that the Akron game is sold out. The UF game is gonna be wild. Glad I got tickets early. Still cost me $500 for 2.

Where do you see Akron is sold out?

I think he might be referring to Danny White's tweet later yesterday saying "only 1,000 tickets left for the Akron game" so probably an assumption those have sold.

Akron game is the Weekend for "Friends and Families" of students to attend weekend so make sense that there are few tickets available. That weekend which is always a gimme opponent always sells a lot of tickets to freshmen families.

Florida Game- The Admin should make life easier for the students as they are the passion and home field advantage for college sports. Why not have the students wait in line for tickets instead of having the “system crash.” Hopefully my son will receive a ticket but students don’t find out about until Friday.

I was going to sell my extra FL ticket but may have to give it to him. Won’t know til Friday.

It’s great to be relevant after first few games.

Yep. Best I ever got from that process was DD against Bama one year. I didn’t even realize student tickets wrapped around that far. It was 50 yard line, row 1 or 2. I watched Jay Graham rip a long TD down that sideline.

I got section D row 2 once. The front row was the ladies track team, so that was an awesome day!

Both my kids were hitting enter before the request process opened at 9 am. Mom and I told both the 5th year Architecture Major and 2nd year Business Major they can have our season tickets for the game if they didn't get one. BUT I sure want to go too!!

UT does not know how many tickets are left since they broker them through a vendor. There could be 10,000 or 20.000 at the vendor site.

I hear ya! My first ( maybe second) TN game was against FL in 1992. What a sight! I’ve been hooked on Vol sports ever since.

I am in the same boat w my son. He will sit w me Vs Florida if he doesn’t get a ticket. I miss the days where I walked up to the office and receive my student ticket. Now they have to wait until Friday?

I found a student ID in the locker room of Fort Sanders Gym and replaced my photo on it. The funny thing it was a Chinese student named Ho Chin. Gate attendants got so cracked up they let me in the whole season!
