How many coaches ever get show causes? You're acting like it's some kind of frequent occurence to which only Saban is immune. They are extremely rare, and completely irrelevant to a guy with Mullen's job security. And again, if Saban were to get such a meaningless penalty, you'd be furious.

Every school cheats. Only the utterly careless get any kind of significant sanctions. Does Bama cheat "more?" Maybe. They certainly cheat better. But, Bama doesn't have to go crazy like Freeze at Ole Miss because Bama wins and puts guys in the NFL at a greater clip than any other program. That's just the truth whether you want to accept it or not.

We lost Haha Clinton-Dix for two games because an assistant strength coach loaned him $1200 bucks to get his car fixed. Two games without a Pro Bowl caliber player is considerably worse than this giant nothing burger at Florida.

Seriously? All of those teams do it. They just don't do it publicly as Mullen did in this one istance, or self-report it and nothing happens. UF's mistake was not including it on their annual report, which was probably just an oversight by someone in the compliance office.
