Florida fans are licking their chops

I'd be lying if I said it was not cause for hope. On the other hand, most of us are sober enough to realize that if we've not improved by an average of two scores a game on offense this year, our defense will not be able to save us.

I want 'em to lick those chops and come in with a swagger 'cuz that will make all the tears, snot, weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth, and wearing sack cloth and ashes beginning 9/24/16 all the better as my drunk donkey hurls insults to their departing fans deep into the night and at least for a solid year. I'm not traveling to Neyland for anything but a win this year, get ready gators, it's coming and it's real this year.

I think UF could walk into neyland, circle up and sing Kum bah ya at center field and the vols still nerve out. Whether they are winning or not, they still have the attitude of the meanest dude on the cell block and tenn cowers every time. They our daddy and we know it.

Wait, wait, wait... I brought up last week how good App. State was and I was told that they were just like Northwestern and it'd be over at half time? Dobbs would be sitting on the bench in the third, crackin' jokes while the 3rd string took reps?

Not true now they almost pulled the upset?

Butch will use these early games to get all the problems corrected and not try to show too much on offense.

As he's done so many times before in big games? If you play like you did yesterday, UF wins by 3 td's. Even if you play much better, UF may still win.

It's going to take about 2 games before UT fans drop this "journeyman qb" stuff when describing Del Rio. You'll see.

This statement has finally proven to me that you are just a pure troll, or you have an IQ of about 45. Only a complete moron would think that UF is loaded on offense, and those coaches couldn't lead the Gators to any points late last year.

The good news is, you'll see soon. We'll revisit this post then.

I was browsing their forum during the game and they were laughing at us. H*ll, the whole SEC is probably laughing at us. The Vols better get better in a hurry or it will be a long year.

All them fumbles lol you better believe we are

Apparently UF fans forgot about the UK, FAU, and Vanderbilt games. I shutter to think that we are being laughed at by UF fans it keeps me awake at night. By the way, ASU is a better team than the three above mentioned teams that UF struggled mightily with.

This makes no sense. Even though they are bad, they are SEC teams not a sub power 5 school and like you all did last night, we won. Not pretty but we won. Not even a valid point by you. Oh and we beat you, again, we inferior talent so that makes it worse in my opinion especially the last 2 years we have played. Keep drinking the orange Kool-Aid my friend.

I'm glad they are confident. We will fix our issues and they will be facing a MUCH better team!

My overall take from last night is that it is only one game and not to overreact....however, in previous similar circumstances.....

Teams that struggled in a game like that were not championship teams.

While those teams were capable of winning games against quality opponents, they were also likely to lose to other opponents previously not considered a threat.

And i think that is going to apply. I think that offensive line is bad enough that any time they dont bring their "A" game, Tennessee could be on upset alert.

Just beat a ****ty east and I'm good. I'd be content being the also ran in the SECCG. Just like u guys, mizzou, USC...

All i want to say about the game last night is that when the o-line plays like they did (terribly) then the whole team and especially offense is going to look real bad. There was seriously an App state defensive player in the back field on almost every play. This line better get it together and do it real fast or we will be fighting to get in the meineke car care bowl.

That's fair. However, you could say that any team that doesn't come to play their best each week could be on upset alert. I don't really expect to see us come out that flat every week. If we do, we are in some serious trouble this season against some quality teams. Bristol is definitely one that all eyes will be on now.

FAU went 3-9 last season; it's a very valid point if you knew how to read and comprehend a thought. ASU went 11-2 last season and actually won a bowl game compared to two lousy SEC teams that didn't qualify for a bowl. FAU must saved all of their talents for UF even though they lost to UTEP and Buffalo

We deserve to be laughed at after that performance. Does not mean we will play that badly again.

I would have loved to see they could have handled Appalachian State last night. Say what you want but they're a darned good team.

I agree with you. Despite my enibriated state through most of the game I was impressed. They are pretty damn good and it wasn't because we made them look good.

We're screwed. Hide the women and children. Over-hyped Orange madness - just begging for a winner.

The streak continues.

Unbelievably stupid comment. Their starting QB has thrown 18 career passes, they have no RB of note, their star WR is more likely to end up in jail than the NFL, and their offensive line is still woefully inexperienced with no proven depth. That stacked offense averaged 8 pts. their last 3 games while being outscored by 24.
Pretty accurate except for the jail part, and UT will probably be favored. What we probably disagree most on is your coach. Last night many of you hated him. Today he is again your savior. I just don't see him as first rate. Seems like a poor man's Muschamp to me.
