I know its early but from what I have seen I am not sweating Florida or South Carolina I think we beat both teams and go 10-2:rock:

It's only the first game so you can't put TOO MUCH stock into it, but it sure does give me more confidence about both games

I think East will be up for grabs. It took a while for UGA to put buffalo away. Buffalo made a lot of big plays against UGA.

Geez....it's still pretty early. I think we have great opportunities...we will just have to wait and see.

I do partly agree...those teams mentioned are not looking sharp.

I could see a 9-3 scenario where we loose to Georgia, Alabama, and Missouri I just don't know about Missouri I guess we will have to wait and see but I feel a lot better about a 9-3 or 10-2 season this year as long as we can withstand injuries should they happen.

No need to get ahead of ourselves, but it they both seem to have the same problem the Vols have had over the last three years. It may be easier to make them one dimensional on O.

NC State is as good as Vandy and Bowling Green. I'm not saying. Just saying.
I am just saying that if NC St. Is good as Vandy then we beat USCjr. I don't think vandy is better than NC St. by no means! Bowling Green sux and still competitive late in game with UF. I guess UF is a win too. Thats not bad saying we should beat USCjr and UF.Just saying

Only the first week. A lot can change.

Way too early to start speculating about strength of schedules for sure. I don't think we have any idea how good NC State was last night. All we know is that we left at least 14 points on the field.

We look to be better, and I think we are better than we looked. I hate to judge too early but right now Florida is looking horrible. I like our chances too, but I'm focused on Georgia State

I am shocked at how bad florida looks. As for uscjr they always struggle against vandy so that game didnt shock me or tell you much about uscjr.

It might be early, but let the OP enjoy it. That's part of the fun of college football

Amerson and company are good. Real good. Our wide outs are just that much better

Both teams will improve as the year goes on. It may play into our hands for once that the UF game falls in September. They hadn't even settled on a QB going into today and now seem to have chosen the freshman. It could be a rough next couple of weeks for him between A&M's SEC home opener and coming to Neyland the following week.

As for SC, if Shaw and Lattimore are still healthy by the time the UT game comes around, I have a feeling that those two will absolutely shred our defense. They looked shaky at times last night, but a top-flight RB coupled with a legit running threat at QB could be bad news.

However, after seeing SC and UF in action I do think we have every reason to think we'll be competitive in those games. At this point I think Bama and UGA are the only teams that will beat us easily.

When were you sweating them? Florida sans Tebow has been a mediocre team at best. South Carolina has been ranked but nothing special. We (I) are only worried about Bama. We have enough players to line up across from anyone else. People will be sweating bullets about having to face us this year.
