Yes I said Florida's AD overreacted. That was my whole point. Tennessee's AD didnt get involved and make big thing out of what Spurrier said about Kiffin,so why is Florida making such a big deal out of this? I'm not sure what part your reffering to about Kiffin overreacting unless it was his intial comment about CUM calling a recruit while he was on the UT campus? If thats what your talking about and CUM called repeatedly, I dont blame Kiffin for saying something about it..........it was classless!

You my friend are delirious.....fear of what?? 2 true freshman that won't see the field right away, a coach who has a career record of 5-15, even with playmakers - you don't have a qb to get them the ball and finally a football team that is 0-4 against said coach and has a losing record and no bowl games 2 out of the past 4 years while we have 2 NC.......I am trembling!! Give me a break. This is water off of a duck's back.

if it is just water off the duck's back, then why the several florida fans infiltrating volnation? if you all were as invincible as you believe, a response of "whatever" would have been the response from the uf fans.

LOL @ this. Really ...playmakers? The Raiders haven't had any playmakers since the Over the Hill Gang retired after the failed Super Bowl loss to the Bucs.

I am feeling the same way you stated and as NC Gatorbait said. Every fan base has fans that way overreact and that is a fact. It doesn't bother me one bit. I actually like the banter back and forth it is what makes this rivalry and college football so much better than the NFL. I also think that is was stated to fire up the crowd in a private setting like was previously stated by another poster.

Relevant and a true threat are 2 different things. It may take 3-5 years before it is at that level. I just hope the UT fans aren't expecting unreal expectations right off the bat. It will take him time to get his system in place and recruit his type of players.....I would love to see the rivalry get back to where it was, just like the UT/Alabama rivalry I want to see it get back like it used to be. It

Gatos fans know full well... we have the best defensive mind in football. He's been the D-genius in Florida for a long, long time.

If Urban wasn't running off to ND next year, it's only a matter of time before Monte shuts him down. We do have the horses on defense to do that.

Alabama is the team to watch as a rival, not the Gators.

The biggest joke in all of this is ESPN. They're running this as breaking news every 5 minutes on ESPN News. Is it really that big of a deal???

It will take the Vols 3-5 years, but it didn't take CUM and CNS that long maybe we will have the same luck!!!!
