I love the double flops in there! HAHA! Especially where Ginobli commits an obvious offensive foul, then flops to try to get the call his way. I bet they called a blocking foul, too! F that guy!

This is the first time I have watched a bunch of NBA playoff games since the Jordan days and the NBA game has turned into garbage. The flopping is embarrassing, the flagrant 1s and 2s, clear path fouls and players so easily being given technical fouls are absurd. Watching Harden and Fisher last night act like they got shot any time someone bumps them and Steven Jackson getting a T just for staring down the Thunder bench was terrible.

I blame the refs. They reward flopping. What else are the players going to do? If an offensive player commits a charge, but the defensive player doesn't go to the ground, it gets called maybe 5% of the time. It has become this charade where you have to throw yourself on the ground. Now that everyone is acting to some degree, it's hard to detect the phonies in real time and we end up with a lot of bad calls.

They need to start calling fouls when they are committed and the victim doesn't hit the hardwood. They need to call flops technical fouls. They need to continue to fine for them (and be more liberal about what they fine). That's how Silver can take the game back.

Or like I said benched after flopping for two minutes.
Major disadvantage like roughing the passed in football, or unneccessary roughness.

Like Max Kellerman said, have a dude just watching for flops. If someone flops make them sit a couple minutes, or immediately give them the foul. Making them pay a fine is a joke.

Um yeah compared to being benched for two minutes. In close games you need your big guns for the full game.
Also get them recorded for shaq a fool.
Or make them watch the garbage of batman and robin or Battlefield Earth for after the game also.:)

Both garbage movies one was far worse that the other it's Battlefield Earth.

Suspensions need to happen. Perhaps a half game or quarter to start and official training. Public accountability with a point system in place on bad errors (not common errors) like calling a foul on a flop or calling something when the ref didn't see it. A different tactic is required for flopping.

Another solution a tech if called during a game, by the designated flop expert ( only active in playoffs) double tech if seen outside of the game. Then lower the technical limit prior to an auto suspension in the playoffs.
