We're all being trolled by our own AD yet again, that plane has been out of service for almost 7 years

That's because the plane was re-registered in 2010 as N1794. A plane with the same serial number and air worthiness date as N111UT. New paint job and re-reg + making it untrackable on flightaware. If it's being used, we won't know. Whoever filed on FlightAware is just messing with people

Someone is trolling on Flight Aware. There is no filed route, and the filed altitude is set to 37,000 ft. The King Air 350 has a service ceiling of 35,000 ft. Whoever "filed" this is probably trolling, and probably not a pilot.

So, will the flight schedule change after 4:38 pm, when it lands?

Disregard...already have. Its a troll.

Looking at the FAA N-number registration site, it appears to me N111UT has been reserved in case it becomes available. Maybe you pilot types on here can expound on that.

UT doesn't use it anymore as they re-reg'd the plane to N1794. If they made it available, anyone could pay the fee and reserve it.

If I had to guess, someone is filing a flight plan as a joke. The 37000 ft is a dead giveaway. Anyone can file a flight plan for any N number. I could file a plan for this aircraft going to Seattle in about five minutes. What I can't do is make the plane leave at its scheduled departure time.

I put this in the other thread too.

Finally got tired of the guess work. Called one of my pilot buddies at the flight test aircraft contractor we use. This isn’t real. No idea if N111UT is currently an active tail number.

I had to explain in detail why I was doing this as it didn’t make sense to him. I explained we are the crazy stalker girlfriend. After he stopped laughing (I was laughing too to be clear) he recommended we go buy some rabbits and a boiling pot. Good advice.

Just tried the link and it says that this aircraft is not available for public tracking. I tried earlier today and it worked.
