‘23 FL OT Francis Mauigoa (Miami commit)

I know money isn’t infinite but why are we getting outbid? Feels like the bigger bag is gonna win the day. Hoping that’s the BVS talking but…
Because at some point you stop bidding. You can have a figure in mind (let's say $4 million). If your competition offers $6 million, you let them have it. You can't build sustainable success by trying to outbid everyone for everybody. Our coaches, staff, players, and commits have done all they can do. If he ends up at Miami because Ruiz dropped a Brinks truck, so be it. If goes where he really wants to go, he'll be a vol. GBO🍊

Of course we do they have a lunatic spending all the money he has for players
Everyone keeps saying that but they have exactly the same amount of four star players as they have committed…. What Texas A&M did last year was unlimited spending

So folks saying how ahead of the game we are on NIL, yet Miami from outa no where is out bidding us? We are in the SEC and clearly on the rise with recruits, staff, facilities, fanbase, etc, while Miami is struggling to put folks in seats and doesn't have anywhere near the facilities, fanbase, and conference...
Yet it looks like they have a real shot at landing a 5* Olineman who is tight with a 5* QB coming in at the same time to UT and they are both Samoan? Who is Miami's QB? I don't even know? If this kid after all the social media of UT and hardly any of Miami, goes to south FL, I gotta really question what is going on behind the scenes... We would have now lost out on 2 5* kids who seemed to be loving UT and locked in...
Guess we'll find out soon enough...

Miami isn’t “out of nowhere”. They’re in it bc Cristobal and staff. He was projected to Oregon before they left.

And Miami has one dude who is blowing up NIL. The LifeWallet guy.

Our NIL is decent but we could be so much better if more fans joined, the only people holding UT back are the fans…I posted a thread in the football forum trying to get ppl to join and I got plenty of backlash from people saying they would rather donate to real charities or some other boomer comment that had nothing to do with the original post so it is what it is.

I do think at a certain point you have to think what’s it worth for a kid that projects as an interior Olinemen regardless of how good a player he is.

Exactly most folks fail to rem 2 months back we didn't even make this kids top 13.I mean he basically wasn't even considering UT until Nico committed. So ur already behind the 8 ball to say and u know they did everything in their power to convince him to come.Did we do enuff to overcome the others guess will find out.

AP has not said it’s all about NIL for him. He has said the biggest draw to Miami is NIL. Which means they’re offering a crap ton of money.
Yup. Both are offering money, but the choice for him seems like more money at Miami or better relationships at Tennessee. Hopefully he goes with the latter, Conyer just did.

I agree...but it’s so easy to spend other people’s money on Volnation!
