Thanks for the response. You think this is just people know FM’s circle spreading different info across the internet to try and help him have his “moment”? Feels weird and hard to believe that the day of his announcement he wouldn’t already know where he is going and would be able to have “momentum” shift back and forth like this.

I think it’s a lack of information from family that’s created vacuum, filling time with speculation.

“Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa is making his college decision later today, and multiple teams are feeling good about their chances.

Alabama, Miami and Tennessee all took Zooms with Mauigoa last night according to On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons, who said those three are the schools it looks like he will choose from today.

“The ones with the most confidence seem to be Tennessee and Miami at this point with Alabama working to hang around.” Simmons said. “Florida and USC are just trying to hang in there and see if they can stay in the race until the very end.”

“I don’t think he’s told anyone anything good or bad yet and I’m not sure that he will,” Simmons said. “There’s definitely talk behind the scenes that he may go into this without telling any of the schools of his decision.””

So folks saying how ahead of the game we are on NIL, yet Miami from outa no where is out bidding us? We are in the SEC and clearly on the rise with recruits, staff, facilities, fanbase, etc, while Miami is struggling to put folks in seats and doesn't have anywhere near the facilities, fanbase, and conference...
Yet it looks like they have a real shot at landing a 5* Olineman who is tight with a 5* QB coming in at the same time to UT and they are both Samoan? Who is Miami's QB? I don't even know? If this kid after all the social media of UT and hardly any of Miami, goes to south FL, I gotta really question what is going on behind the scenes... We would have now lost out on 2 5* kids who seemed to be loving UT and locked in...
Guess we'll find out soon enough...

Yeah AP had said it was always Ohio St with Tate. We had a good package put together for him and was the higher NIL but Ohio St’s came close enough late in the game and that was his dream school.

That's just what they mean by they think it's a good thing AP isn't really saying anything. If AP knows he isn't coming here he would say something like 'starting to hear a bit of buzz about blank school, will try to find out more.'
