No Crystal Balls in just yet so not sure on that part but Bama was never really out of it as far as I know. The thought has been Tennessee/Miami/USC trending but Bama has still been recruiting him heavily.
One close source says it's believed to be down to Alabama, Miami, and Tennessee, and the plan is to not inform anybody until the announcement. Up until the last 24 hours it's been believed that the Hurricanes and Volunteers are separated themselves, and perhaps that's still the case, but one source says the believe Bama is still in it, but have work to do with less than 24 hours to go. We're not projecting Mauigoa to Bama, just relaying that the Tide is still in the mix more than people have believed the last couple of weeks, and it's worth tuning in for the nation's top-ranked tackle's announcement on Monday.
Haha. Not hinting at anything with it. But it's always a good time to tune into BOL regardless.
Could be some misdirection here but I do know per sources close to Mauigoa that his camp really like Bama. UT is still the one to watch IMO but its been pretty quiet here recently.
I couldn’t help myself.![]()
Yet, Tennessee beat them 2 of the 3 times we played during that span.I think our fanbase and stadium are obvious wins for Tennessee. I think we do have better history and tradition over the totality of CFB history, but I’ve never seen a Tennessee dynasty and doubt I ever will. Miami, to their credit was an absolute machine in the 80’s and early 90’s and the 2001 team was probably the most talented team of all time.
Now, you can also say that was accomplished through cheating and other nefarious practices, and you’d be right. You can also say they have had the benefit of playing weak competition. Since they’ve moved to a decent football conference in the ACC, they haven’t done anything. My dad is a big VT fan and VT has and continues to consistently beat Miami, despite not being anywhere near as talented. Whenever the Miami hype train rolls around, he just rolls his eyes.
