What is up with this kid that all his 247 CB's predict he'll pick UCF? Even Witfong. How does a kid rated this high pick UCF? Red flags? Money? Just seems strange.

Maybe this will become the new norm---kids will stay close to home, get acclimated to college life for a year or two, and then transfer up when they've matured and started to contribute. It's probably healthier for the kids to let them develop somewhere with less media and expectations, while they grow up a bit.

Lighting a torch? No way. The guy is a DB so he wanted to play for the greatest DB to ever play.

Why is it so hard to fathom that a player may like a certain school or coach over many others? Not saying that’s the reason. But it definitely could be.

That's what the player said. You can be skeptical all you want, but Deion has already brought in a few P5 caliber players. Many see a higher calling than just what's on the field.

Maybe so. But I do believe Primes status in the realms of DBs helped out.
