My wife is still mad because I skipped a wedding to stay in the condo and watch the game…and I still tell her it was a great decision. We were in Gulf Shores for a wedding and as the time got closer to leave she kept telling me we had to go. Finally she yelled, ā€œDo you just want to stay here and watch your football game?ā€ To which I quickly said yes…what a great decision…
You still married to her? I noticed you didn't say ex-.

After this game, it was without question the beginning of the end of Tennessee football. Everything went wrong after this game. EVERYTHING
. And that’s saying a lot considering everything went wrong for UT from 2008-2013 as well

They blamed the refs mostly

Expected.

I savored every moment of those shocked uga fans who sat dumbfounded. Such a snotty, whiny fanbase. That pass, and then the Bama pass as a distant second, are my two favorite moments of that trash program having a dagger driven through its heart.

As a bonus, we haven't had to listen to Larry Mushmouth's ridiculous drunken-sounding 'hobnail boot' tirade ever since.

That was the last big win for UT. Think about that, 5 years since a signature win. Had beaten FL and then this win over GA. The loss to ATM in OT was disheartening but still you thought things were going well. Then you had the los to bubba, SC and a bad vandy team to close the season. And it's been terrible since.

The team was falling apart inside even while it was winning. That’s the ultimate in pitiful leadership from the head coach. Certain players had no respect for the program & the HC & it destroyed the season

I was home watching alone but one of my coworkers (a UGA fan) texted me ā€œhahahahaā€ right after Eason’s Hail Mary followed by ā€œšŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ā€ after Dobbs. Wonderful feeling but I thought I was going to have a stroke in those final moments lol.

5 years already.. to think Tennessee was headed back in the right direction and it was just the beginning of another down turn but worse. Smh.

Not really sure how it gets fixed...
That's the part that gets to all of us...

was at this game, my wife asked me to go get her a water about 1 min before this happened. It was like a scene from how to lose a guy in 10 days.
damn!!

And you went and got the water???🤣🤣🤣

Poor soul you...

My siblings and I were sitting with our mom in her living room as she lay dying of cancer. She was in hospice care so we watched with no volume and remained mostly silent throughout the game. When GA scored, we reacted and she mumbled, "what happened?" I told her that UT was going to lose. She just shook her head no, and she was out again. She was right! She passed the next morning. I will always remember Jenning's catch as the day before my mother passed.

2016 season was so strange. We beat both Florida and Georgia but lose to South Carolina and Vandy.

A Georgia friend of mine jumped clothed in to his pool after the Georgia TD, and then got to watch the Dobb Knob dripping wet. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Well, to be honest if Hup really believes what he preached about hating to lose more than he loved to win he could be the guy for Tennessee. I just wish he’d clean up the penalty yards.
