What are you guys favorite brand of fishing boats?

Mine is a Ranger hands down. But after working the pro bass tourny at Ky Lake last summer I gained a huge appreciation for Bass Cat, they definately make a quality boat. Although I love all these there too expensive and I drive a 18 ft Crestliner. Great multi purpose fishing boat, holds well on a rough day on Big Sandy crappie fishing.

I have a triton but some friends of mine have bumble bees and they are really fishing friendly, but I cant complain about the triton.

I like Boston Whalers, but they're not really designed for freshwater fishing.

The Triton I got to go on with our family friend who fishes the FLW was the nicest fishing boat I have been on and driven.

I have a 19 foot hydra sport with a 200 Evinrude. Nice boat, ride is dry , only complaint i have is the rod box isn't big enough.

Tritons and Bass Cats are both very nice boats.

It's definately no Cadillac, but I wouldn't trade my open stern 16' Bass Tracker w/ 25 HP for anything. I troll& the open stern is perfect. It may take me longer to get there, but I can catch as many fish as a 30k fiberglass boat and use less fuel that equals less money. I can take 3 trips using my motor to troll all day on a 12 gal tank. But that's just me....

I caught one while sauger fishing one time, never would have know the difference had my grandfather not been there. I'd like to fish up north for them sometime along with musky.

Yeah, sauger and wallys are very similar. They can even cross breed. Muskies are a beast. Would love to catch one. Never eaten one so I can't comment on taste. Muskies from what I hear is one of the most aggressive freshwater fish in the US.

Oh yeah I gained a huge appreciation for them while watching people catch them on tv. The hardest fighting fish I've ever caught was a barracuda.

Thats definately a good deal, deep sea charters were high when we were in the Bahamas a couple years ago. My goal before I die though is to catch one marlin, always just been a dream of mine.

The 'Holy Grail' of saltwater fish. I met this guy through his son who did his student teaching under my supervision. Told him if he wanted a good grade he would set up a fishing trip. We hit it off with the dad and have been buddies since. (He deserved an A anyway)

He does but it's not prime marlin time when we go every year. Has caught the triple crown 3 or 4 times. (White, blue marlin and sailfish on a single trip)
