This was as tough of a loss as I have taken as a Vols fan. It is clear to me now that Dooley was just the guy to somewhat stabilize the roster and get us through the Kiffin stench. He will be gone by seasons end and even though we haven't been great, this job is more attractive now than it was when he took over.

Football has always been my life but to know that my first born child, a little baby girl, is due at any moment puts all of this in perspective. I just hope for her sake and mine, UT will be relevant again by the time she's old enough to understand the sport.

Do what you must to move on Volnation, but try and keep it all in the proper perspective.

Maybe move somewhere else so the kid can grow to love football while having a good team to root for like I did with Tennessee in the 90's.
